Why is that every time the word illegal immigrants comes out most of you think of Mexicans?

in this country there is a lot of illegal immigrants from all over the world please expain

I myself think there are many more south Americans then what people want to think. How can you tell a Mexican from a Guatemalan, Honduran, Brazilian, Cuban or others? You can't! How can you judge and say you saw an illegal walking down the street? You can't tell! This is called stereotyping and to me it is racist!

That may be true, but the majority of them are Mexicans... there are lots of them since all they need to do is cross the border... other immigrants have to fly in from their own country, which requires passport and all that other stuff. If you don't have it, don't even think about boarding the plane.

Plus, which race is the one you hear the most on T.V., or see in newspapers? Answer that question. They just keep on coming in and giving birth to children they can't even afford to feed.

When Asians or Indonesians come to America as an allegal alien, they don't cause that much trouble. But as for Mexicans, that's a different story.

In a few occasions, the expression Hispanic and Mexican have turn out to be synonymous. For the intent you identified, so much illegals from from Mexico. (You don't see plenty of flags, instead of Mexican, in neighborhoods with prime numbers of illegals.) Remember that participants from Latin American who desire to get into the US need to go via Mexico. Which is a country that enforces their immigration legislation (whilst simultaneous condemning the equal legislation within the US).

You are right there are illegal immigrants for other countries as well - but the numbers of Mexicans is over whelming.

The numbers I have heard and read quoted are that 8 out of 10 illegal immigrants are Mexicans. That tends to qualify why we think of Mexicans when illegal immigration is mentioned.
Fact of the matter is, that if the other 2 or so folks who come here illegally (out of the 10 mentioned) were to continue to be here, no one would possibly notice.
The Mexican illegals are SPOILERS. They spoil the country by doing the devastating things they have done to our infra structure and education systems, the are over populating many areas to the degree that traffic, parking etc. are virtually impossible to be able to functionally deal with. Crime is way up in the areas that are primarily of Hispanic (most of whom are Mexican) origins. In Calif. 40% of State and Fed. prisons are illegal immigrants. They are in prison for high level felonies, such as murder, armed robbery, rape and so on.
Their presence illegally in our country has turned Americans against legally immigrated Latins from all over the world, because Americans are resentful and they don't really know who's who. So everyone is mistreated. Highly unfair and injurious to America and legal, law abiding Latins from all over.
Then there is the cheat that is done to those who wait legally in line to come to AMerica. They are cheated out of a spot as immigration officials consider what to do with the situation.
WE are spending billions of dollars of THE WALL, deportation etc. etc. These illegal Mexicans are SPOILERS!
They must be stopped and returned to Mexico.
These are the reason, some of the reasons we think of Mexicans when we hear the word illegal.

Well, the majority are from Mexico...so that is an honest mistake. Did you know that 1 in 10 births in America are anchor babies? But, to be honest...I do think of others too...but Mexicans are just the majority. I live in TX, I know...trust me. When I go to the local grocery store and most of the conversations I hear are in Spanish...you have to start to wonder. And, I do realize that not all Mexicans are illegal, but lots are where I live are...so that does not dilute the point.

The majority of illegal aliens hails from Mexico.They are mainly responsible ruining others lives from stealing ids to stealing ssn numbers. They abuse the system meant to help people not become a way of life to enhance their life. Billions are being sent to mexico no other country has become so rich from telling the people to go to America be sure to send money home.

The media contributes to the stereotype. If you notice, when the media has both persons speaking on their viewpoints on immigrations, it's usually a person from a hispanic group vs someone from anti-immigration group.

It's not a real stretch when the majority are Mexicans. Secondly...even though there are illegals from other countries.....they are learning English and trying for the most part to blend in. It's not the Korean or the Chinese or the Polish or any other group trying to change our language or touting the wonderful bi-lingual world of English-Spanish. They all aren't comming here dropping anchor babies by the millions. They aren't shoving their "culture" down our throats. They aren't talking about wiping out "white europeans" or taking their land back. There hasn't been a surge of child molestors or rapists in any of their groups but there is for prostitution. They haven't ganged up and driven people out of their communities or been so anti-assimilation that towns are forced to inact laws or close loop-holes in existing ones in order for the rest of the community to live safely and peacefully. There hasn't been rude people, in your face, demanding things no other citizen gets. They don't have extreemist groups worrying about only "their" people at the expense of others. I haven't seen them burn our flag or re-write our anthem in another language. They haven't pulled the race card and they aren't hanging out in a "sanctuary church" to avoid the reprocussions of their actions. The papers aren't deluged with sob stories of their struggles, even though they would make life in Mexico and the trek across the desert, a bad picnic. They haven't tried to compare their plight to american slaves or try to jump on that bandwagon. They haven't shown such a hatred to America or Americans even though they have had ancestors here that have been treated unjustly at one time or another in the past. They aren't abusing our welfare system and they don't have the smug attitude that it's owed them. Not to mention the ease of crossing a border. They aren't demanding "special favors". well.......that's for starters.

To make it real easy.....they are the ones causing the biggest problems across the board.
