The irony in your question is that Hillary is not even a liberal. She is very much a centrist... everything from her pro-war stance to her belief in marriage being between a man and a woman only.
Her being painted as a liberal has been much about the Republican propaganda and quite frankly, those who just want to hate her.. to find a reason because most of the time they have no clue what they are talking about.
I am a far left liberal democrat... I hold issue with her on many issues based on her centrist stance on issues. With that said, I would still vote for her. Not because she is a woman but because I am willing to accept that the country just made a statement with the last election that they want more centrist ppl in office. So, I am surrendering some of my extreme left views in the idea of our country... the idea that I think it is time we stop fighting.. the idea that we need to stop holding our country hostage to our extreme views and start to get along.
Once again with all that said, Hillary, in reality is the only candidate that truly is a centrist. Not McCain, not Giuliani, not Obama, not Biden..
But what you are running into is the old-school result of flat out propaganda and bigotry. You said in your question that non-liberals are against her... the reality is a lot of women and liberals are against her. Centrists love her.
The women whom dislike her shocks the doo doo out of me. Hillary is the most centrist, pro-woman candidate we have ever seen; yet, the woman stand opposed? Go figure that one? My conclusion is propaganda and absolute 100% ignorance.
The better question btw, would have been, " Name one thing against Hillary Clinton's agenda you disagree with?" Because trust me, the American public that THINK they don't like her, would have NOT been able to answer that question.
Karl Rove figured out in the 70s that the American public is absolutely stupid. They vote based on prejudices and don't stop for one second to ever say, "Do I really know anything this person I am voting against believes in?"

Lets see. Three to start with.
Ordered the use of the FBI to discredit Travel Office employees. Lied to investigators about her involvement in the firing of Travel Office Employees.
Rose Law Firm Records.
The way she dealt with the health care task force. Just what was said in the closed door meetings on our dime.
Look Hillary Rodham Clinton as she like to be called. Has way too much baggage for me. I just barely scratched the service of what she's done and what questions she need to answer to even be a contender.
Personally I'm hoping she'll run so we can get another Repub. in the white house.

She's no longer an trouble-free female. we are meant to have faith her whilst she says she did no longer understand something approximately her husband's infidelity? That she have been given fortunate in livestock futures? no longer something became occurring in Whitewater? return and forth workplace firings? Political snafu whilst they ended up with FBI records on Republicans? human beings understand she's mendacity, yet some human beings desire to forget approximately that for the easy reason they desire to vote Democrat, and in her case a gaggle of individuals desire to vote for her by using fact she is a woman. i'm married to a reliable female who has been in management positions for 30 years. This men can no longer look after a reliable female is rubbish. men can look after good management. we've had females in key government positions for some years, appointed by making use of REPUBLICANS (Condolleza Rice, Jeane Kirkpatrick, Sandra Day O'Connor) and Democrats. it relatively is in simple terms a rely of time previously a woman is elected president. I in simple terms want that female to have severe ethical character, the comparable ethical character i desire to work out in a male candidate.

Look at the answeres on here. most say they hate her becuase she is a liberal. don't ask them to elaborate on that becuase they can't. Most of them also hate her because of her last name. They do this becuase for years Rush Limbaugh has told them that is what they should do and these people DO NOT think for themselves. The answers show that..... they hate her becuase she is a liberal.... that is the best they can come up with. Unfortunate for America that people like that are allowed to vote.

Because she plays to the people to make them think she is a moderate (see beach bums answer) yet she has a voting record that makes it look like she has gone so far left shes not even on the page. She a lying manipulator just like her husband and people buy it.

I think it's because of the obvious; scandals involving her husband and their non-acknowledgment of them. I think many things that Bill Clinton did will reflect poorly onto her and her campaign. However, as a woman I would love to see a woman as President even though I very conservative.
