Someone (maybe my ex) keeps calling me from her home phone (duh) and hanging up. My caller id shows the number. She never leaves a message on my answering machine or if I answer it, the person just hangs up right away.

Yes it is. You will need to go to the police department to file a written complaint. You could also change your phone number and request a non-published number from the phone company. Problem solved. If she starts to call your cell number get a new Sim card--your number is changed. Make sure you inform whomever you give your new numbers to that they are not to give it out to anyone without consulting you first or you will have to go through this all over again. DO NOT give it out to someone you cannot trust to keep it to them self.

Keep track can't do anything at first, but if you have a history showing they are calling, then you can do something with it, you used to be able to block numbers, but the way has changed and if someone wants to call you they will. To a home number is better than a different one if they keep calling, it's obvious where it's comming from. The phone company can always be contacted too, some are more willling to help than others.

Call your phone company and report it. That is harrassment.
You could also block her phone number. The phone company can help you with that, too.
