No doubt, it is the Air Force. Yet, so not judge a service by its basic training phase. In the overall conduct of service all branches of the military provide a very important mission to the defense of the US.

When I joined the Air Force, Basic Training was 7 weeks long. It's the shortest and easiest of all the branches, at least from what I've heard of the Army, Marine and Navy Trainings. Most of our training is in the classroom. And yes, we do a lot of marching, even in the AF, so with bad knees, you may have a problem getting accepted.

okay i just graduated from bootcamp *** well it is hard but not in the way you think most of boot camp is alot of mental games yeah sure you do have the physical parts but most of that is easy as can be even the fat ppl in boot camp said the physical stuff was easy but it is very difficult some ppl cant take the stress they put on you everyday i dont know the excat failer rate but we did have 4 guys drop 2 were for injuries 1 was for popping on the piss test and the other was a ***** and could not handle it so it really depends on how tough you are mentally thats the truth we had this one guy who was really weak we didnt think he would make it well he did and he gradauted right beside us so just remember aslong as some on the espirt de corps they can make it

Swallow Water Navy (The Coast Guard) has the easiest boot camp of all. Remember right it was 8 weeks long. Plus you are very seldom deployed overseas.

If you want the best go U.S. Marines!

Air force
8 weeks
Probably not, with the tremendous amount of marching required for any branch, you will probably be medically disqualified.

Air Force.......6 weeks. But, there is a lot of marching, running, and physical stuff so I would say bad knees would not be good.

USMC....but the Camp Fire Girls were a close second!

OK USMC guys (& gals)....I am a former Army officer and my son's godfather is a former USMC Tanker. Can't resist giving the Corps a shot now and then.
