I'm a diehard consevative. I've got a friend that is a over the top liberal blowhard that just doesn't stop explaining how Dems are the best thing for the world and how great are nation will be now that they have power. How can I explain to him that his views are not only incorrect but insulting and that I really don't want to listen to it anymore? Poiltely?

Sooooooooo many people either doubt that it can happen, or think that they won't be affected because they don't live in a major city .
UTTER FOOLISHNESS !!!!!!!

If even one major city is hit significantly enough, life will change immediately for every one of us, INSTANTLY !!

it's a very simple solution to the "growing" problem. anyone with a criminal history, sterilize them. sterilize the poor too, since they can't afford their children. and if there is still a population growth problem, sterilize the middle and upper class randomly.

What is the legality of downloading TV shows (which are not sold as individual shows such as Sky One's Brainiac) for showing in an educational environment (such as a secondary school) in the UK? Please cite specific law/acts/cases wherever possible.

I know that it has some relevance to a European act passed in 2001 but I don't know what the act was. Is it not similar to VHSing programs from the TV and showing them?

I was receintly diagnosed with conjestive heart failure and while I was in the hospital the sherriffs office served us papers but I never received them because my son received them and for fear my condition would worsen he did give them to me until it was too late. I undergo heart surgey the day after christmas and I am supposed to vacate by Saturday 12-15-06. I feel I should appeal this decision I am on section 8 housing and physically and mentally can not handle this and I dont know what my children and i are gonna do. So how do I appeal this and whom should I contact for help. Local agencies appear to have no rent assistance available at this time

My husband's ex bring him to court demanding maintenance payments. Therefore we had to have a solicitor and fill an E form. Therefore our solicitor's bill is around £20,000 and the ex's less than £5,000 pounds (She also wants us to pay her bill). We don't understand why the bill ends up such figure, which is all our savings. We made an enquiry about the bill and were told by the solicitor if we don't pay the all amounts (already paid £7500 update) they would not do anything for us. The final court hearing is next month, we really don't want go to the court because the solicitor fee. What will happen if we don't go and just waiting for the court results? Can the solicitors do that to us?

Did you hear that the construction company building the wall on the Mexican-U.S. Border is hiring illegals? That is sooo funny! I busted out laughing. The owner is going to be fined millions $$$$.

That comes to show that illegal immigration is NEVER going to end, and most businesses will continue to hire illegals (from all countries). All this crap that ICE and politicians are doing on t.v. is just for publicity:)

I have looked at and read 99.9% of all of them ranging from Roswell to the current notions of 9/11.

I have noticed a few common trends:
1) They all distort or bend the "quotes" of eyewitnesses
2) They all use grainy pictures
3) Use obscure documents and paperwork
4) Change and distort the half-truths into complete truths

Example: 9/11:

The Hunt the boeing farse:
Is it really all that hard to see the plane parts and compare them to the drawings of boeing and conclude that it was a boeing 747-200 that hit the Pentagon. Seriously, I am not an expert in avaition though I did serve in the USN working on military jets.

I think it is a serious injustice to the USA as a whole that the lies continue to spill forth. None of the sites bring anything new forth just the same lies: Compiled into a false truth. Is it tragic in the least.
My ability to reason and understand physics is why I refute the 9/11 inside job claim. how about you?

I like Hillary but the ***** is hated by so many people, many would come out to vote just to vote against her. And everyone is in love with Obama, but he's a little bit inexperience. John Edwards would be the smart choice to me. He's younf but experience, smart and is from the south, which would help the Dems with some much needed votes from the south. Plus Edwards is the perfect stereotype that white america want in a president. This could also be used to set up Obama for 2016.
