Well, you are obviously all Mensa candidates. If you want an intelligent answer to this question (or if you want your answer to appear intelligent), you may want to try spell check and/or proof read.
As for the war in Iraq (not Iran), we cannot simply "cut and run" for several reasons. First, that would be very irresponsible of us. We promised these people we would help them overthrow their abusive government and build a new government. We can't go in, mess up the place and then leave it in a mess. Second, if we leave now - with our tail between our legs - we leave ourselves open to more terrorist attacks like 9/11. It is similar to a school yard fight. You can't "flip off" the class bully and then "cut and run" unless you plan on getting your butt kicked on a regular basis after that.
Go back to school and learn how to spell before you try to figure out the best way to run the country.

We need to make the Iraqi government more self sufficient first. Liberals and conservatives (for the most part) agree on this, although everyone has a different opinion how to.

We would if the American self loathers were running the government. Even their elected representatives, that are in their party, say we are not leaving atleast until 08. Does not matter, insurgents are soon to follow wherever we go! That cannot understand why defeat is not an option!
