My husband and I talk everyday on the phone and sometimes spend 40 dollars in one day on adding minutes to his phone card. For 550 units...which is about 3 hours for calling from Iraq to here costs $42. I am aware that he must use AT&T calling cards but can you use the ones they sell at Walmart or do you have to get them directly from AT&T or AAFES? Are we spending too much for what we are getting?

These two groups of small islands are located in the South China Sea. It doesn't appear that any of these islands are capable of supporting human habitation, however their ownership is currently disputed by many countries, including China, Vietnam, Philippines, etc.

What is the history of these island groups over the past 200 years? Most accounts which I have seen on the internet only talk about the current ownership disputes, and don't go into the history in depth.

Some sources say that these island groups were occupied by the Japanese during WWII. However, the situation before that Japanese occupation is much less clear. In particular, I would be interested in the history of the Paracel Islands and Spratly Islands over the last 200 years or more.

At my job I work at my own desk. I brought in pic's of the family and a few memos that say "support our troops" "freedom isn't free" and quotes from the movie office space like " Is this good for the company" now for the past 2months some person(s) have been removing these items from my desk. I am very upset about this. I have gone to the boss twice and they posted a memo to all employees not to touch anything on employees desk. If they have a problem with something to bring it to the bosses attention. Well it hasn't stopped, things are still being taken down from as far as I know only my desk had been tampered with. Can anyone give me ideas on what I should do legally?

I don't see a candidate from either party or from any of the U.S.A grassroot groups that I would vote for.
I am not ready for a female president.
I am, so, not willing to have someone equal to or lessor intelligent as the last branding iron white house vacancy filler.
I want some fresh intellects who show progressive working ideas for the U.S.A. before we smother our country in coal burning Electricity providing plants. Then have to compete with Europe to reduce our Smog and Air ratios.

Anybody know anyone who is good Presidential material that is hanging in the background because of the way things have become the person feels it doesn't provide the person much of a chance?

Each country with a legislative body should pass a law that any representative that votes in favor of a war shall have themselves or their children automatically drafted for the military. No one would ever want to start a war if a law like that passed.

The National-Union is a newly formed third party, the populist party.
With e-voting for absentee ballots, the National-Union is more representative than any other political party in history. The National-Union has a 5-party system that appeals to the various issues that are most important to citizens. Each minor party has resolutions to foreign and domestic policies. It's an old wise tell that voting for the third party is a waste of time and effort because your vote might secured your freedoms!
The National-Union is already prepared for the White House in 2008 with its candidates, PRIMUS & PRINCETON

Empires seem to only last a set amount of years on this planet. I feel that at some time the in future, the land we know as the United States of America will no longer be what it is today. But what i want to know is how much longer the US can go on being the most powerful nation in the world? Whether it be another nation conquering us, global problems (run out of natural resources, global warming), or total annihilation from another uncontrollable source.. how much longer do we have left?
