Israel did not achieve anything in its deadly attack on Lebanon. They didn't get thier sorry *** soldiers back. And how come is it that the western media says that the soldiers were "kiddnapped". A soldier can't get kiddnapped, LOL. Captured is the more appropriate definition.
The only thing it has achieved was inflicting casualties (mostly civilian). Hizbollah did have political gains, they are quite popular among all Lebanese people.
According to a CNN survey, 85% of Christians support them, 90% Sunnis and 98% Shias. That's a big number. PM Siniora has to allow some space to the opposition. He can't just shut them out like that, that's not Democracy.
Lebanon's hostility toward Israel would be typical, they have to live with thier reckless actions.
Don't forget the massecres of the 1980's Israeli invasion of Lebanon!
Long live Lebanon.

Hezbollah and Hamas are terrorist communities. that's what they do. on an analogous time, the government of Israel isn't plenty greater effective. The terrorist communities inflame and radicalize stupid Palestinians into attacking aims in Israel, and Israelis. And the government of Israel treats all Palestinians with contempt, pushing them in direction of the terrorist communities. What they're doing is keeping administration. by using offering an enemy to hate and attack, the two communities are able to regulate a super type of folk. there is not any rationalization why Israelis and Palestinians, and all the Arabs would be unable to stay mutually peacefully, different than their management makes use of war and hatred to regulate them. Anwar Sadat have been given bored with enjoying this interest, and incredibly desperate to attempt to come back to an lodging with the Israelis. i believe that's what have been given him killed. with a view to respond to your question, no the Israelis shouldn't stay quiet. they ought to start a conversation with Palestinians. and that i do no longer advise the terrorist communities. they'd desire to initiate treating the Palestinians like human beings. on an analogous time, the Palestinians would desire to reject terrorism and attempt to attain some undemanding floor with the Israelis. Terrorism has extra them no longer something yet loss of existence and suffering. As is often the case, it isn't the folk who create the wars, it incredibly is the politicians.

Well, unfortunately, my country's bowing down to the ridiculous demands of the UN (Pffft, peace, **** that) have set an example for all terrorist ad guerilla groups: If the war's not going your way, make the UN end it.
This essentially means that a terrorist organization can attack a country without fear of extensive repercussions.
Except for America under Bush, he's ******* crazy.
EDIT: To those of you who don't understand that Israel lost, this is the second time this kind of thing has happened, and it'll happen again, except in much larger proportions, and it will continue to happen until there is no more Lebanon (Not no more Hezbollah, since that'll continue to exist as long as Lebanon does), so it's a perpetual losing situation for us, even if they don't have incredible glorious victories.

Unfortunately where things should have changed, nothing happened...US still blindly supports Israel,no matter what...every country in the world has condemned Israel's attack on Lebanon ,but US,who still sustains that Israel was "defending itself"...Israel has made more enemies, countries like Venezuela cut every diplomatic ties with Israel...
As for the European ,it is trying to get more involved into the Middle East peace process...they passed a few resolutions accusing Israel for what they did in Lebanon and Gaza in the last months...

It gave Palestinians more courage to attack Israel as a nation at war, instead of just a collection of guerrilla groups.
This will allow Israeli people to fight back against a true enemy nation, thereby getting rid of the problem of picking out guerrillas who are shielding themselves with their own children. The whole of Palestinian people will be at war against Israel. This will speed up things quite a bit.
To understand this, consider how Allied forces got rid of Nazi Germany and Japan in WW2. They started bombing huge amounts of civilians, and it worked.
Compare to Iraq, where they have to pick out terrorists among non-enemy civilians: impossible task to accomplish.

It was a three-way lose situation, no victories. The effect has been an overflow of rhetoric and chest beating.

Here's an answer that might sound intelligent for once
WHO WINS A WAR? NOONE FOOLS
PEOPLE DIE, STARVE, GET MAIMED
THE LAND SUFFERS, THE EARTH POLLUTED
PLAGUES, FAMINES, AND MORE CRAP TO DESTROY
NOONE WINS, WE ALL LOOSE. NOW THAT IS THE TRUTH
AND YOU ALL DENY IT IN YOUR VANITY TO BE RIGHT AND TO WIN.
