seriously...
...its so totally "patriotic" to support your president... but you can't lie to yourself all the time... you can't spend all your time trying to stand for a cause you don't believe in either...

so when it looks like there is no end to war in sight... is hope for his safety all I have to hang onto?

Will we ever get out of Iraq or stabalize it? Realisticly what is the best strategy we can hope for?

You never see the Green party ranting or the Ralph Nader party spewing hate. Even Huey P Newton of the Black Panther party was more peaceful.

Me and my friend have someone we particularly hate....we plan to go roll their house over the Christmas break from school. All we would do is put toilet paper in their trees/bushes/cars, spread some shaving cream around on windows and stuff, spray silly string, things like that. No egging, haming, or somethgin that could actually ruin something.
If we happen to get caught and the cops are called, what could they actually do. I think the worst they could do is take us home, tell our parents, give us a "stern talking to", and/or make us clean it up. Could we be arrested or fined. Could they do anything if the person thinks it was us but has no solid proof?

Such as when John Kerry mentioned that Dick Cheney's daught was a lesbian, or when the Congressman from Tennessee used them against Harold Ford, Jr also of Tennessee.

I've always been disappointed that we don't have any strong third and/or fourth party candidates. But I was also thinking the other day how unfair it would be if the nation's elections were decided by only 20% or 25% of the population as a result of having strong 3rd, 4th and/or 5th parties. What do you all think about all this?

If they are, why discredit them all together? It has been proven that people prefer news that has a slant towards their political ideology.

So if ABC, NBC, PBS, NPR, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, NYT, LAT, The Boston Globe, Christian Science Monitor, Gannett, and Knight Ridder (These are the answers I've gotten so far, so the list might grow) are still reporting the actual news, just with a slant, how does that make it okay to say the liberal media is misleading the public? Perhaps it's Fox News misleading the public. I mean you've got 6 news channels against 1. Isn't it completely unreasonable to assume all 6 channels (and 2 radio networks, and 6 plus national newspapers) have a policy of lying to America?

It helps to counter China's presence in Asia. It's not like India will use their nukes, they are the most peaceful nation out there. Heck, even their revolution was non-violent. Please don't confuse the US helping India with the back stab when the US helped the taliban. You lack serious knowledge about India if you can believe that BS. What negatvie actions has India ever done? It's like giving a monk a machine gun.

In my opinion with this decision Arjun Singh has lost his right to move around without security, coz if he does Rang De Basanti act will surely be repeated on this political manipulator and unthinking dog.

And what are the ramifications to special interests?
If we consider the conservative Christians who usually are very Republican are beginning to embrace liberal issues like the enviroment, AIDS, human trafficing and the like. Add to this the sweeping popularity in this last election of Democrats who are pro-life, pro-gun and anti-gay marriage. Everything seems to be going more to the center but at the same time alot more muddy as far as who stands for what as far as parties are concerned.
How will this affect the future of politics, of special interests and the country in general? Does all of this make us a better country?

If our American Government is so good to the American people, why are there so much violence in this world? Such as robberies, rapping, killings, drugs, kidnappings, and basically just being Satan's helpers!!

I am talking about people complaining about the war in Iraq. I mean, most of those people complaining don't even have a family member in the service. They just blab how they think soldiers are stupid for going and killing "innocent" terrorist. And why in the heck did we even have to give Sadam a trial! We are pretty much basing the war around people who think things need to be done to help them. Then theres that whole thing about some soldiers tying bags on terrorists head and doing some weird stuff with them, but it is so inhumane for us to do that isnt it! It is ok for them to execute our soldiers with blunt knives though. I'm also mad about soldiers having to go back and ask their commander if they can shoot back when they are being fired at. They literally have to go and ask their commander for orders to start firing. You may be wondering how I know this, but it is because my dad is in the Army. Im also tired of moody teenagers trying to do everything they can to stop the war.

What was DU used for? What made it necessary?

In what form (artillery?? etc) was it delivered to the affected areas?

Describe the physics involved in causing the DU from an item the military could use without any perceived negative biological effects to become a harmful presence affecting the lives of the people in the area.

What areas were immediately harmed?

Where other countries where the weapons weren't used affected, if any?

Do you feel the use of DU had adverse health effects or do you disagree?

Florida and California both think inmates condemend to death should be given a quick fast death. Why is this? They did not give the people they hurt the option for an easy way out. Why should we give them one?
