I am talking about people complaining about the war in Iraq. I mean, most of those people complaining don't even have a family member in the service. They just blab how they think soldiers are stupid for going and killing "innocent" terrorist. And why in the heck did we even have to give Sadam a trial! We are pretty much basing the war around people who think things need to be done to help them. Then theres that whole thing about some soldiers tying bags on terrorists head and doing some weird stuff with them, but it is so inhumane for us to do that isnt it! It is ok for them to execute our soldiers with blunt knives though. I'm also mad about soldiers having to go back and ask their commander if they can shoot back when they are being fired at. They literally have to go and ask their commander for orders to start firing. You may be wondering how I know this, but it is because my dad is in the Army. Im also tired of moody teenagers trying to do everything they can to stop the war.

Im also tired of people saying we kill innocent people. We dont, all of our soldiers are trying to form a little bit of peace with innocent Iraqi's who really do want democracy. You know if the U.S went and just dropped bombs on countries and killed innocent people, we really could rule the whole world and the people left in about three days? We can transport troops faster and have the best technology, although some of it hasn't been tested.

Im not saying that we should, but it every country is always saying how horrible we are and how inhumane we are to other countries. Well, if they really want to see inhumane, we are no where near it. We provide prisoners with everything, their little prayer rugs, good food, and we dont beat them up.

I really think my bottom line is this; war is a necessary thing, and people are going to learn how to deal with it. We are killing people, but they are terrorist. If we don't kill them, they will kill innocent people. I think other countries dont see that we are trying to help Iraq, but rather take control of it. We really are trying to give it a democracy, and in return we will have some of their resources. I truly am tired of people who really think that the war is about oil, just becuase that is what they saw on CNN. Like I said I have a dad in the Army, and he is there, he knows about his job. He isn't a killling machine, they go out on missions and go to check points to compromise, altough they useally end up being shot at.

Hell why don't we just bring our troops home and disband our military? Woo hoo! That would be just perfect! We could live in a Utopian world where everyone gets along. We could sell our military equipment and pay for everyone's healthcare. Hell while we are at it, lets just invite the whole world over to live with us in peace. Kumbya my lord, Kumbya!

You do realize the very first action conducted by our military was to carpet bomb a bakery right? Our Iraqi 'intelligence' agents said saddam was in building x and it cost the lives of many civilians. Good intentions, but civilians are getting killed regardless. Just want to point out that war is not white vs black. A lot of gray happens that is not right. Besides this war is going down hill with time.

good afternoon young one, i am a former marines wife, my husband just got out of the military...i'm sort of speechless on your book that you wrote about all your thoughts and facts about the war, and the voice of the American's. First and foremost, please don't be so naive into saying that it's dumb for non-military families to be concerned...at this time, all Americans are concerned about our troops! I really don't know what to say to you, you make good and bad points...I simply just want to say, I hope your dad makes it home, as I have been in your similar shoes 3 times!!!!! yes, 3 tours! and about this whole war, well...it IS NOT NECESSARY! Saddam was a target, but not THE MAIN TARGET it was OSAMA! but I am not going to get into that, what is being done now is too late, I SIMPLY WANT OUR TROOPS HOME!

The War in Iraq is crucial to future peace in the Middle East. Can you imagine what the Middle East could be like when Iraq and Afghanistan are finally stable countries? We are doing our best to get that done. Most people just "hate" Bush and the war, but they know nothing about it.

for starter is hate the fact that people are complain that the solders are the bad people in the Iraq, they are solders and are giving an order to do, not to our constitution requires us to have a trial before we can accuse anyone. And you are right, if a solider is being fired at they should have every right to fire back at them

Because you have problems with the voices in your head. I don't know who your hearing most of that from but I ain't heard nothing like what your saying. I'm sure your just exaggerating and twisting words. People will keep complaining until the war is over. Get used to it cause it's only going to get worse for you...
And we do kill innocent people, but that's expected in a time of war. If you think we're not then you have even more problems with those voices..

My husband is in the Air Force and has been deployed and I have complained and will continue to complain about the war. I hate confrontation and I am sure that things can be resolved differently.
We are all entitled to our own views and opinions. You dont like people that complain and the people that complain dont like war.
Why are you letting them, us get to you?

You don't have to have family memebers fighting a war to be against people dying. As long as people are dying, there are going to be complaints.
