It helps to counter China's presence in Asia. It's not like India will use their nukes, they are the most peaceful nation out there. Heck, even their revolution was non-violent. Please don't confuse the US helping India with the back stab when the US helped the taliban. You lack serious knowledge about India if you can believe that BS. What negatvie actions has India ever done? It's like giving a monk a machine gun.

I'm sorry, but when your neighbor up north keeps harboring the terrorists that attack your country you have to fight back. Are you trying to justify defense vs a garbage Pak country as aggresion?

India has gone to war repeatedly with it's neighbor Pakistan, also a nuclear power. I don't know where you got the idea that India is one of the most peaceful nations out there.

We really screwed up by going to Pakistan first. India was the more logical choice, not money grubbing Pakistani's. They only allowed us in for a quick buck, and they hated our guts while doing it. Helping India just makes more sense and it helps put a counter balance in a region among many unfriendly nations.

the big scare is that Pakistan also has nukes and their is a lot of fighting in Kashmir so they might not fire the nuke first, but if they are attacked then they won't hesitate to use it, especially if Pakistan threatening their religion
