No, I believe in the sovereignty of the individual. Freedom and Morality are not handed down to us by some Big Brother. They come from our creator. It up to all of us to cherish and defend what the Lord has given us. Don't waist your many Blessings.

No. Liberal Democracy is the best.

Communism can be successfully applied only if used properly. The USSR's economic policies were bogus, and waged too many wars. That's why they collapsed.

China on the other hand managed to become successful without a single bullet. And its Communist.

China is economically doing very well right now, but I would imagine that as thier population progresses, they would have to take some initiatives on Democratic reform.

True communism is very much like a religion. It believes in the vision of a perfect society where all people are treated equally and fairly. It is very similar to the "Kingdom of God" vision in the Bible. In that sense, yes, I am a communist because I also believe in justice and compassion. Sadly, all religious visions wind up in the hands of institutions that distort and manipulate them, whether it is the old USSR or the Christian churches.

Only a corrupt wealthy individual who acquired his wealth through ill-gotten-gains or became what he is through his parents wealth and mommy daddy financial assistance would ask such a mentally blind insipid question.

A form of Communism can exist in a Democracy.

A person doesn't have to be Atheist to be Communist, ideas of Communism existed way before Marx, Marx just rehashed, just like Islam tried to rehash Judaism, with paying your debts as number one command, Christ had Communist Ideologies, saying to forgive your debtors and share. That is why Islam and Judaism are in conflict, they are Merchant Religions, used by Merchants to protect their trade and ill-gotten-gains. The Concept of Christian Charity is Uniquely Christian, and akin to Communist Ideology, not necessarily Marx's rehash and definition, although some like Pat Robertson can use Christianity as on TBN and CBN in reality they promote Judaism, and they are constantly talking about money and paying debts, very rarely about giving or sharing, or Equality and Fairness and Charity as Christ emphasized, if you notice they constantly quote Judaic parts of the Old Testament more than the New Testament

Also Islam and Judaism emphasize wealth as a sign of God's Blessing, We all know this is not necessarily true, many wealthy could be corrupt and Deceivers as Bush, Christ tried to change that to show that poverty is not less Blessed of God. It would be hard to deny a Creator even under Communism, but I do not see why People have to deny a Creator in order to be Communist, I believe Marx used Communism to sway the People in order maybe to promote Atheism, but as I said before Marx merely rehashed previous Ideas of Communism and Utopia, these Concepts existed before Marx and are Free for all People to Define and Promote. He is not the owner of such ancient Ideologies.

Not a card-carrying member - no. However, I certainly do believe that Communism would be the best possible solution for civilized mankind... if only mankind were UNSELFISH ENOUGH to engage in enlightened SHARING - which means CIVILIZED ENOUGH to follow its principles...!!!

It amuses me how very many people on this forum - like "Farzand A" and "missemoo" - labor under the misapprehension that communism is the opposite of democracy...

Whereas in fact, true communism, of course - as dreamt of by Marx (though seldom practised anywhere, least of all the Soviet Union) - is probably the closest literal analogy of true democracy...!!!

Indeed, if only more Westerners actually knew what genuine Communism is - (instead of what their own capitalist media tells them it is...!) - far more of them would probably vote for it than any other form of constitution. (Which is precisely what their own capitalist media is afraid of...!!!)

No, I am not. Communism and socialism are wonderful concepts on paper, but will never work in the real world.

Unfortunately there are several Americans who are commnists: clinton, pelosi, kennedy, ginsberg, b. hussein obama, among others.
