when it comes to tolerance? they lecture us about it constantly and demand we tippy toe around everyone's feelings and go out of our way to not offend anyone. yet they have no tolerance for people who disagree with them. say something good about america, white people, christians, republicans, or God and their faces turn red with fury and they shout, call names, and go into a swearing fit.

I have a "friend" that was busted with a small amount of marijuana. He was charged with a misdemeanor health code violation. When he paid the fee the court tacked on a "victim restitution fee" off $100.00. Now, I understand that marijuana is illeagal, but I cant think of anyone who was a victim in this situation but this friend of mine. I may be biased...Can someone please enlighten me as to who the victim is? Please refrain from using the "your helping the terrorists" or the "your supporting the drug dealers" approach. assume that my friend grows his own.

I received damaged property due to a service person coming into my home to repair a related problem. The damages caused will by upwards of $4,500.00.
What is the process of filing a case? Do I need a lawyer..or can I defend my own case in small claims court?
I gave the company adequate opportunity to solve the issue, but they have been very sketchy, and I've also reported them to the Better Business Bureau.

She babysat, we decided on $5 for 3 kids ( because I am in school and I am on disability). Now she said I owe her $7.00 for 3 kids. She had a job (I assumed it pay $7.00) and she quit it saying everybody drove her crazy. I gave her a check for $58 and she gave it back. So what will the judge say? She even gave me a peice of paper say it was 1 child was $3.00, 2 was $4.00 and what hell 3 for 7.00???????? Ok what do you all think I should do?

I know that in one county some cops refused to fine people who had small amount of marijuana. In my state NY its decriminalized in small amounts.(its just ticket first and 2n offense)
I also realize even if a single cop is for legalizing it. If he speaks about his view his superiors will not like it. I met cops who smoke marijuana so i know your out there. I just want to know what your views are?
