Replica WWII German and American items for film?

Hello all, I was simply wondering where to buy some replica german and american items from the second world war for a movie I am going to be directing.

If details are needed just ask.

Also I am in Australia and have quite strict gun laws. Boo for us!

There must be a prop company in Sydney that has what you are looking for. If not, there are prop companies in the US that have what you need. One is at the link below -- take a look and see if it has the equipment you need.

Obviously, you will need to coordinate with authorities when you shoot the film. I'm not familiar with the permits required in Australia but great films have been shot there with military weapons. One excellent film was about the Boer War and starred Edward Woodward and Bryan Cox... I can't remember the film's name, but it was terrific. The point is that there must be a way to incorporate realistic weapons into a film in Australia. Check with the local authorities.
