Someone said that virtually no liberals said that Ahmadinejad was worse than Bush, and then said she could definitely see how they could say it!

You guys are hilar! LOL

Hey listen you right-wing nut job. Just because a guy has teenage girls hung from cranes due to "immoral acts", and they struggle for 45 minutes before they die, and other women are buried up to their necks and stoned by crowds for "immoral acts", just because Ahmadinejad signs off on that stuff -- it doesn't make him a bad guy. And that whole Hezbollah indiscriminately firing rockets into Israel and that Muqtada al-Sadr militia thing in Iraq -- just because of those things he's not a bad guy. Oh -- and the wipe Israel off the map thing. And the unite the world under Islam statement thing. And the destroy Europe and the US statements -- he's not so bad. Like Mike Wallace said -- Ahmadinejad is smart, savvy, and he's a guy that you would just love to get to know!

It is all too easy for the misinformed to say about someone in history. After all, they don't have to do any research into Hitler or think about what he may still do.... he's DEAD after all.

On the other hand it is just too hard to spend any real time researching the differences between the Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran and George W. Bush of the US.

In both cases it is largely ignorant people who, like lemmings, just follow the herd right off the cliff into certain doom.

But its ok, everyone else was doing it, right?

Here's a quick synopsis;
Ahmadinejad; College educated.. elected by a 12% voter turnout at one point. Vocal in his defense of "Islam taking over the World" by any means and fervently hopes Israel will be burnt off the map.

Bush; College educated... elected by an electoral vote victory 50.4 million votes to 50.9 million votes. Vocal in his defense of Democracy, Christian values, and an end to the Global threat posed by such radical militants as Iran, Syria, and the entire militant non Koran-following Islamic Jihad movement.

Hitler; admittedly a good artist was turned down twice by the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts.... had a 90% plebescite approval rating of his appointment as Chancellor. Promised a "chicken in every pot, a VW in every garage, and a job for every German". The same thing FDR was to promise only a few months later to the USA. He brought a destitute nation out of the Great Depression before any other Western nation could begin to unravel its own problems. Although a devout anti-semitic, he was only one among MILLIONS of his day that shared that banner.

History; read it, remember it, use it to make an informed choice today...... or take someone else viewpoint and follow them like a lemming....

Because that is what they perceive to be the truth, in the same manner that you fail to agree with that opinion, it is what you believe to be true.

Opinions differ, just because people have a difference of opinion doesn't make it wrong, it's when they try to enforce their version of 'right' on to others makes it wrong.

Hitler invaded many nations, and slaughtered millions. America at that time was accused of doing nothing for years when it could have intervened. Now America views it's actions as intervening before a nations ambitions result aggresive actions. Whatever your view point there is no easy line to draw and say this is right and this is wrong. Iran in fairness has not militarily invaded soverign soil of another nation, however they are guilty of state sponsored terrorism, which in itself by some is deemed an act of war, effectively sending offensive troops into another nations soveriegn soil.

Perhaps there is no right answer ?

Don't judge all liberals because one person made such a comment. But...

I can see where they're coming from. At least the Iranian dicator is BLUNT and doesn't have to lie to a whole nation in order to fulfill his own selfish desires. Bush is more twisted that the Iranian dictator is CAPABLE of being...

and do you mean Iraq or Iran? Because if you're talking about IRAQ-- their dictator kept CONTROL of Iraq. He was evil, yes, and he killed civilians yes...but wait. Let's count the number of civilians HE killed as opposed to the number of civilians BUSH killed when he was in control...yeah he really helped them out...

Anyone with half a brain would agree. If you are so lucky as to have seen the recent Glen Beck show, then you would know the liberals are only letting you hear one side....theirs. Check that maybe that's all they really understand and believe????

Don't get me wrong bro, I'm by no stretch of the imagination a liberal, but I don't recall anyone saying that. They can be, in my opinion, a little wacked in their policy standings but I don't think they're THAT bad, really.

I can't imagine they really think that. It is intended as their protest of the President.

I wish they realized how wide this www thing is.

They are serving only to lower troop morale, and I answered a question in military about this earlier.
