It's the truth, and every one knows it.
The war has to be. Throughout history, there has never been such a thing as peace on earth.
Anyone with any sort of education whatsoever know that history is full of butt kickers like the Crusaders, Alexander the Great, the Mongols, and on and on.
THIS IS NOT WHAT IS GOING ON HERE. We are defending our country, our freedoms and our liberties. We are defending what we have already fought for and won. In order for us to have these freedoms, we have to defend them.
It is our Government's job to protect and defend us. They have this responsibility first and foremost.
Maybe the liberals should all move to France or Canada and have nothing left to whine/complain about.

I'm a Liberal, albeit fairly moderate. I served in the army in the 70's. i voted republican in the 80's because I believed we needed a stronger defense. But i was young and didn't see the whole picture. i am still fairly pro-military, but I truly believe we have been misled into Iraq...there are too many issues for me to ignore...the whole thing has a stink to it. If you and i really thought that America was at risk you would not insult fellow Americans and I would be more inclined to cooperate with you. I think Iraq has, is, and will compound our problems. When both parties in America can agree to cooperate in maintaining the Constitution and on a unified foreign policy, it will be a day when we need each other...that day ain't here yet...by the way, i joined in 1976 (our biennial) I was very patriotic and believed in America, the flag and the Constitution

My, my... aren't we being a hypocrite tonight? RESENTFUL? Yeah, I'm sure you are, especially when you stupid conservatives lost the House and Senate to us "ungrateful" liberals. Seriously, now. Why not try asking something that doesn't embarrass yourself?
