Means you are not following the regulations of the lease, could mean playing loud music, having a pet, late rent, domestic violence, are examples only. You do have the right to find out why you are out of compliance.

It means that one party has not kept up with their end of the lease. For example, if you were to pay $500 on the first of each month and haven't done so, you are out of compliance.

It could mean anything from not paying rent on time, loud music, amimals, neighbors complaining about you for various reasons, etc. a lot of times it means you have more living in the apt. than is on the lease.

It means you broke terms set in the lease. which can be anything from making noise to not paying the rent.
