Say a civil war broke out next week between all legal citizens vs. all illegals. Which side would you take and why? Please just answer the question, I don't care for any mumbo jumbo. Here's my answer to show you what I am looking for:

The legal american citizen side because I am for the legal american way. I respect the country and all citizens residing here legally.

Very simple indeed. Also don't play that "what about all the murders and criminals who are legals" card, What about all the ones who are not illegal, works both ways. Thankyou for your time and insight.

Former IRS CID Special Agent Joseph Banister Acquitted of Tax Fraud And Conspiracy
Government Unable To Prove U.S. Law
Requires Income Tax Withholding or Filing

http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=-5297571003407049929&q=joe+banister

Sacramento California -- On Thursday June 23, a federal jury found former IRS Criminal Investigative Division (CID) Special Agent and CPA Joseph Banister not guilty of all counts alleging criminal tax fraud and conspiracy related to actions he took on behalf of a California business owner who had openly defied the IRS over several years by stopping withholding of all income and employment taxes from the paychecks of his workers.

During the trial the Department of Justice was unable to put forth any evidence that Banister had either engaged in a conspiracy or had acted unlawfully when he shared legal research with business owner Al Thompson concluding that he had no legal obligation to withhold taxes from his workers or when he (Banister) prepared corrected tax returns for Thompson claiming his taxable income was, under U.S. law, zero.

During the trial, Banister's former supervisor at IRS’s San Jose CID office, Robert Gorini (who testified via video recording) when pointedly asked, was unable to cite any U.S. law that required Banister to pay income taxes.

Banister, who was forced to resign in 1999 after questioning IRS officials about their legal authority, gave Thompson’s worker’s a presentation in 2000 which reviewed his detailed investigative research of U.S. tax law which concluded that not only did the IRS lack any authority to impose income taxes on the workers, but there was no legal requirement for the business to withhold any taxes from the worker's paychecks.

Banister is part of a nationwide effort seeking to force the U.S. Government to respond to a series of detailed legal Petitions for Redress of Grievances directly challenging the authority of the IRS. Last summer, the We The People Foundation initiated a landmark lawsuit with 2000 plaintiffs against the government because it has refused to answer the Petitions.

The Right-To-Petition lawsuit, of which Banister is a plaintiff, is the first time in history that U.S. courts have been asked to define the meaning of the final ten words of the First Amendment.

Court documents for the RTP lawsuit and scholarly research regarding the Right to Petition can be downloaded from the Lawsuit Information Center on www.GiveMeLiberty.org.

Following the verdict, Banister was greeted by a throng of WTP supporters and members of his family.

Is it unethical of House what he did in the hotel?

Is what he did called manslaughter? involuntary manslaughter?

I'm not giving out specifics just in case some people haven't seen the recent episode.

then how come when I was in college and I lived in Mexican neighborhood they all would be so happy to have a white tennant becuase they felt I would always pay my rent and be respectful, Im not making this up, I loved my Mexican neighbors but they were vey racist, They would never rent to blacks especially Jamaicans, They liked renting to light skinned latinos and whites esp,,if they could get one

There was also alot of racial dialouge with them about how white people are cold people and how blacks are stupid and lazy, but then they would also say they were ashamed of thier own people sometimes,,they would even cry over this stuff

everybody was always a gringo or a black guy or a chino or a dominican first, and foremost, before they woulod even talk to a person

I think the Mexican culture is wonderful but is sadly drenched in racist ideology,, I just find it ironic how they in turn believe that Americans are more racsit then they are

anyone agree ,, disagree

My political views are very middle of the road. I am conservative about some things and liberal about others.
But after seeing the war between the Reps and the Dems here on answers..All the name calling and whatnot and the Dems calling the Reps warmongers and things like that...I just read that now that the Dems have taken control of the house they are pushing to reinstate the draft.
I am not biased towards either party but to me it seems hypocritical. Also this is something the Reps said they would never do.
my question is...
Do you think the President would Veto such a thing or do you think both parties are working together towards the same goal and all the mudslinging was a diversion to keep the public opinion elsewhere?

I am a supervisor in a call center that has recently started devating people when there is no call volume, but requiring them to stay around so we can have them log back in if the call volume picks back up. I don't exactly think this is legal, and it's FAR from ethical, as we are tell the agents to log out, not paying them, and telling them that they can't go home.

What will be the outcome of the "War on Terror"? Will there be another Great Depression? Do the Republicans go the way of the Whigs and are never heard from again? Will we still be using gasoline to power our cars, assuming anyone can afford them by then? Will a woman be president? What other areas can you predict?

I'm a student in debate. Our new topic is resolved: A victims use of deliberate deadly force is a just responce to repeated domestic violnce. I know about the cycle of abuse and everything but the key word in the resolution is deliberate. So in a cross examination time I think people will ask if its okay for the victim to go into the abusers room and shoot him, taking the abused life away?? I have a responce to this I just need people's inputs. If you can it would be greatly appreciated.
