I know a lot of Mexicans and I have never heard one say that America was to blame for their problems, they put the blame where it belongs , on their corrupt government politicians, but, they are the same as us here in America what can they do when there are only two parties to vote for and both are so crooked it doesn't make any difference which one wins, same as here had our forefathers not been dedicated statesmen and most honest, we would be in the same fix they are in now, and we certainly will be soon because our politicians are just as crooked as theirs are, but, we had a lot More ahead then they did, but, for how long can it last?

I can understand this. I am one that did not agree with NAFTA and all that. SOME of these people eicked by a living and were OK with that. When this NAFTA thing took over, they couldn't do it anymore. Kind of like the poor Americans that don't appreciate the insourcing or outsourcing of cheap labor. I'm poor. I could deal with that. I can't now when they allow illegal immigration and inconstant rules that take that away from me as well. I do understand that much. I don't HATE the Mexicans or the India Indians for that......I hate the greedy COMPANIES. I know where to put the blame. They don't. They are blaming ME when I am just as much a victim as they are.
They blame me because I'm "white" and am an "American" citizen. They don't get that I am dealing with the same things as they are. Being "white" and "American" doesn't give me a free ride.

It is just so much easier to look across the border and see our prosperity and be jealous and blame us. Though I tend to agree that our government is partly to blame, because our government looks out for the socially elite, corporations and the wealthy, the majority of Americans are struggling as well, though no where near their poverty. The Mexicans really should stop with the "I can't see the forest for the trees" mentality and step back and look at their government and the wealthy. The solution to their struggles are with their corrupt government. I really feel sorry for the citizens of Mexico and despise the Mexican government and socially elite who control them.

If your asking about "what the majority of poor Mexicans think..." you will definetly not get that answer here, don't you think? You'd have to survey them since most (if not all) people who'd answer here don't make up the "poor mexican population" and will be biased and know nothing about being Mexican and the culture and their people, etc.
Your best bet is to reaserch, if you REALLY want to know.
And by the way...The majority of Mexicans who come here have little control and little to do with their govenrment's choices...and thats a fact... You really think anyone would want to leave their country of origin, the place where they formed their identity and where all their family/people live? Absolutely NOT! But YOU CAN'T WAIT AROUND A LIFETIME FOR CHANGE TO HAPPEN, or for your F**D up government to do something......SO WHAT DO YOU DO? YOU IMPROVE YOUR LIFE BY TAKING NECESARY MEANS...It all comes down to humanity and survival, not politics/ race issues and so on.......you can't blame ANY human for wanting a better life/survival....and NO ONE can dissagree with that, right?

Well I don't think all poor Mexicans blame the U.S., although many American companies have gone to Mexico to exploit the poor there. But I blame 90% of the mess in Mexico on the corrupt Mexican government and greedy, selfish rich elite in Mexico who don't give a damn about anyone, but themselves.

Their government is in shambles because of thieves in government, former presidents who have fled the country with billions of dollars and the rest of the world does nothing about it. Swiss bank accounts with millions of dollars that will never be returned to the people. PRI is one of the most corrupt political parties in the world. The rich elite run that country and do not want to help the commoners become educated or they would fall from power. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

i don't know if you've spoken w/ enough Mexicans to believe that to be true....
let me guess you've personally spoken w/ the majority of Mexicans...... millions right to come up w/ such a statement???
Mexicans know that Mexico is corrupt..... they don't blame Mexico's poverty on the USA.... but they do blame the USA for stealing half of Mexico's land in 1848, for coming to Mexico and acting like idiots (alcohol and prostitution), for the hypocrisy that exists w/ illegal immigration today!!!!!!
by the way.... Mexico is not a third world country!!!! please show me exactly where you come up w/ such a "fact"???!!!!
is Mexico corrupt?? absolutely!!!! but the middle class in Mexico is slowly but surely emerging and up until the recent elections many positive political gains have been made!!!!!

Why should we shoulder the blame for Mexico's corrupt government and poor way of treating their own people. We hold our own government responsible for our stuff they should take care of theirs.
