You hit the nail on the head. It is amazing, however, to still see some of the imbeciles on here not being able to tell the difference between LEGAL and ILLEGAL!
Anyway, the illegals come here knowing full well that what they're doing is wrong, but they pretend that they're not breaking the law. When we complain, they call us "racist" because we want them to follow the law, just like we're required to do. So if we don't look out for their interests, we're bad... but who's looking out for us? Ever heard an illegal complain because they're affecting our quality of life? Yet, we're supposed to feel bad on their behalf?

If people come to the U.S. illegally it is the fault of the country they are running from. If a person has a job, home and health care they would not want to leave their homes and in many cases their families to come to a country where they do not know the language or the customs. They are desperate for jobs and money to send home to help their families. Their government has to create industry and welfare programs. Our citizens also have to take care of their families and our government cannot take the burden of an unlimited amount of people.

It is sad that there are people who can sit there and say that without anything to back that up. Mostly all of the immigrants who are locked up are because they committed a petty crime, and was locked up for being an illegal - not for the petty crime. And, there are more people locked up that are homeless than immmigrants. Do you think we would have a railroad system without the chinese coming here? Probably not would be my guess. Do you know that the U.S. was built not only by the indians and whites, but mostly be immigrants? Without immigrants, where would we be? Do you know that according the the 1994 A.L.C.U. Immigrants Rights Project Report Studies found that immigrants create more jobs than they can fill, and employ not only other immigrants, but whites also. Do you know that in the 1994 Urban Institute Report states that immigrants generate significantly more taxes paid for than in costs for services that they receive? I am a young, white mom of 4 children who want my children to know about immigrants and their culture - I am tired of a racist country!! I want everyone to be equal - no matter where they came from. And, people who teach their children about immigrants and their culture will not only make this world a better place in the future, but will also make the children better than those who praise the Ku Klux Klan. I think you should read Taking Sides - Clashing Views and Controversial Issues in Race and Ethnicity (5th edition). In this book, it takes both sides - it is not onesided - of people who are for and people who are against certain issues. Read this (and not all issues may pertain to what you want to read about - but I think you need to read about Issue #2), then get back to me and tell me what you think then!! Thanks/, and hope you have a blessed day!

If I could make a better life for my family I would cross it.
I would go across a border I didn't agree with.
Crimes?...Law?..these are a people who law has made poor and desperate, you think you will teach them to respect the bully by more bullying? All you do is add to suffering... period
These are mostly hard working people doing what they can to get by. Its what each of us does when we go to work in this serf society. Its not our fault we want to live, to eat....Why don't you Ask yourself who could possibly benefit from keeping them poor? Do you think they can change that...well they are trying....if you think they are going to lay down and die...because why.....they are unlucky...seriously the issue is complicated.

We are partially responsible for their dilemma...we took all of Texas away from the Mexicans leaving them without any good land at all.
And FYI...there would still be problems if there were no illegal aliens.

I agree with you. You have to prove someone is guilty first. I have nothing against imigrants except people who are here illegally, but some of those people have "more angles than Carter's has little liver pills" on how to get out of/ around things.

Right on! Stop playing that we American legal citizens are so mean and spoiled. So what, we built and shaped this nation, that's out right. You illegals don't have any rights, so go home, if you hate Americans, we don't like you either.
