Just say no, he's just trying to get more hours from u for the same money..... it's stupid if u say OK. When i was 15 I had a job at a shop, i was selling nice clothes but my boss was very chip and he payed me not a lot of money, 6$ an hour, well it was 7 years ago, but still he was chip to every person that worked for him. So finally i sad enough and i fined a better job and better money, and i quit. Trust me it's not worth it, maybe now he sad to u work more hours for this money , but latter he will give u more hours and pay less then he payed u before. Just go and look for some other job with a better boss and don't waist anymore of your time.

If you are salary then you are pretty well stuck. The only exception that I've really seen to that is that if the hours that they have you work would end up paying you MORE with minimum wage then with your salary then i believe that they HAVE to pay you minimum wage for that week. Otherwise, yea, you're hosed.

If you are being paid by the hour, this is illegal. He would be getting you to work for free.

If you are salaried, you're probably just going to have to deal with it. You aren't being paid for your time, you're being paid to do your job, and that takes as long as it takes.

If you are paid a salary, you are not paid for any number of hours. Therefore your question is false.
