Greetings!
I don't think he was used to make an example. Yet I do thing the justice system is not equal.
If the crime were not perpetrated upon celebrities, what would the sentence have been?

If indeed he was mental as some suggest, why not an institution?

Also, the same holds true for convicted killers, who, you will find, have very despairingly been sentenced.

Justice should be equal!

Good Luck

The only time I ever think about Charles Manson is when he comes up for a parole hearing, and am reminded that he has used up an enormous amount of the US taxpayer's dollars, when he should have been executed many, many years ago. There isn't any question about his guilt. Politics had nothing to do with it - but you already knew that, didn't you?

No. Charles Manson freely admits his involvement in the crimes committed.. In fact, at his parole hearings he has stated more than once that if let go free, he will 'do it all again.'

That's not a political prisoner..
