hey if Iran can be considered a democracy why can't Israel?

A democracy means that the people vote to make decisions. A pure democracy has direct voting on issues, while a democratic republic has elected officials.

The Bill of Rights is just a name given to the first 8-10 Amendments. The US Constitution is just the particular document that defines how the US government is structured.

Of course you can have a democracy even if you don't have a legal document forcing you to. All it takes is having people vote.

You just don't like the choices the voters there are making.

even if they did have one that wouldnt make them a democracy, actually america isnt even a democracy,, thats just a common misconception, in a democracy the majority rules, so if america was truely a democracy bush wouldnt have won the election in 2000, as he didnt get the majority of the votes, but it came down to the way the electoral college is set up
