A soldier has issues with his command about stupid stuff. Basically the command said the soldiers wife couldnt take care of two dogs by way of taking them outside. When this was not true and that other NCO leadership lied to the command about that. Now the command is trying to charge this soldier with disobeying a lawful order of commisioned officer. This order is obviously personal in nature and with no ill nature to warrant such an order. The article speaking of disobeying states no order is lawful if it is personal in nature. Does this constitute personal in nature? Any help would be great. Thank you.

re the following article:

http://uk.news.yahoo.com/19112006/323/kissinger-calls-international-conference-iraq.html

is it possible that there is concern amoung the string holders of power, that bush is going off the rails? whilst these people may have global agendas, perhaps nuclear war is not one of them.
correct me if i'm wrong, but it is unusual for people like kissinger to speak out, they prefer to be behind the scenes pulling th strings instead. so i'm reading this as a significant. your thoughts?

myself and bussiness partner were having a drink in union rooms and as we were leaving a doorman said something to me which i did not here. when i said pardon me i was grabed from behind pinned to the floor and manhandled out witch has left me with a broken finger and back injuries. my partner aloso received the same trearment. when the police spoke to the staff at the pub they said i looked very alike to a known trouble maker. he then said to me in front of the police we all look the same, meaning black people. being outraged at this i found the police were unwilling to do anything about this. am i wrong to think this is a serious matter or should i, as the police officer said, let it go and move on?

Calif. couple calls for orgasm for peace By MARCUS WOHLSEN, Associated Press Writer
Sun Nov 19, 9:05 PM ET

Two peace activists have planned a massive anti-war demonstration for the first day of winter.

But they don't want you marching in the streets. They'd much rather you just stay home.

The Global Orgasm for Peace was conceived by Donna Sheehan, 76, and Paul Reffell, 55, whose immodest goal is for everyone in the world to have an orgasm Dec. 22 while focusing on world peace.

"The orgasm gives out an incredible feeling of peace during it and after it," Reffell said Sunday. "Your mind is like a blank. It's like a meditative state. And mass meditations have been shown to make a change."

The couple are no strangers to sex and social activism. Sheehan, no relation to anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan, brought together nearly 50 women in 2002 who stripped naked and spelled out the word "Peace."

The stunt spawned a mini-movement called Baring Witness that led to similar unclothed demonstrations worldwide.

The couple have studied evolutionary psychology and believe that war is mainly an outgrowth of men trying to impress potential mates, a case of "my missile is bigger than your missile," as Reffell put it.

By promoting what they hope to be a synchronized global orgasm, they hope to get people to channel their sexual energy into something more positive.

The couple said interest appears strong, with 26,000 hits a day to their Web site, http://www.globalorgasm.org.

"The dream is to have everyone in the world (take part)," Reffell said. "And if that means laying down your gun for a few minutes, then hey, all the better."

Will this deter GW BUsh from a war with them?

11/19/06 "AFP"-- -- WASHINGTON - A classified draft CIA assessment has found no firm evidence of a secret drive by Iran to develop nuclear weapons, as alleged by the White House, a top US investigative reporter said on Saturday.

Seymour Hersh, writing in an article for the November 27 issue of the magazine The New Yorker released in advance, reported on whether the administration of Republican President George W. Bush was more, or less, inclined to attack Iran after Democrats won control of Congress last week.

A month before the November 7 legislative elections, Hersh wrote, Vice President Dick Cheney attended a national-security discussion that touched on the impact of Democratic victory in both chambers on Iran policy................
