for a married woman what is the process to get a passport in India?

First, You should be Indian citizen by birth or other wise.
second, go to nearest passport office or any major post office and collect passport appplication for a fee and submit with relevent documents and photos as per clear instructions given in the passport application along with passport fee at the nearest passport office or you can also submit at some of major post offices.
