Well, if you are new on that job, maybe you should work something more to compensate as you must give a good impression at the beginning. Otherwise if you've been there for already sometime, the managers will probably work out something so you don't loose the money for the time you missed.

Luckily I avoided it. Have you tried signing up for TFL updates on your mobile? It's unfortunate it has to come to this, but it really helps you plan your route.

You can claim on this: http://www.tuberefund.co.uk/. My experience of claiming is that it isn't worth the fuss. But as long as it puts them to some fuss....
