I don't understand how this war is doing such, since we don't need massive output from factories, and in turn the factories need to hire more workers. Am I missing something that would make this war help the economy?

a big topic. But did you hear about this mother in Chigaco who is an illegal who is getting deported. But who as a son who is American. If she says. This will be a big change.I If she leaves nothing new. So you think she should stay, or go? I think she should stay. But I am bias. For two reasons. I don't thinka child should loose his mother like this, and I believe in legalizing immigrants. I belive we should have not a total open door policy to immigration. But a doggy door policy to immigration. Thanks for the input.

Not just the US, there are also cases against UK soldiers.
I'm admittedly pro-Islam, nevertheless, I don't accept what Sadam Hussein did during his time as Iraqi head of state. However, this is no reason for allowing so-called 'civilised' countries to go 'Scott-free'.
Violators, and those who ordered and/or turned a blind eye to such actions should be brought before the courts and be held responsible for the infrignements which they either perpetrated or for which they take the ultimate responsibility.

Everywhere I go there are those plastic and cardboard political signs all over the place at the side of the road and in empty fields, and the teenagers where I live have been throwing them all over the place late at night. Anyone else notice this problem?

It was Bin Laden who was the muscle behind the 9/11 attacks, yet he has been conveniently forgotten about as Saddam was an easier target to attack and catch.

Please don't tell me some of them were on remand and not proven guilty. To get held in custody these days you have to be Adolf Hitler at the very least.

I was living in a nice apartment with anoher guy who was the primary lease holder, i was given a 30 day notice when he decided to move and I was given a reciept for the amount I was owed and a 5 day period to pay. That was two months ago and I have yet to get my $1500. Do I go to the police, do I get a lawyer? What are the steps involved and am I entitled to intrest or damages for the time period with out my money? Also a check was bounced in my account... I am guessing that obviously this is owed to me.

Over the years the government has been messing with the interest rates and gold is at an all time high lately. The last time I saw this was during the Carter years.

Gold prices typically go up during a recession/depression.

Will this catch up to us eventually?

Will we have to pay the piper somewhere down the road?

The polls suggest that 85% of Americans think that Iraq is a failure, and yet the neoconservatives seem convinced that the job can still be done. Also that the only thing going wrong is that some people hate Bush more than they hate terrorists. Bonus points if you address the points (either for or against) made by the neoconservatives in the following link.

Below are links to sites that show the facts on what taxpayers dish out annually on illegal immigrants. Do you think this is right? Or do you think this money would be useful going towards other problems that this country has? Please feel free to express your opinions, I would love to hear them. Just to let you know, if you are against these facts, then please provide a link that backs up your argument or I can't take you seriously. There are currently 300 million people in this country. So do the math.

$12 Billion dollars a year is spent on primary and secondary school education for children here illegally.

$17 Billion dollars a year is spent for education for the American-born children of illegal aliens, known as anchor babies.

$90 Billion Dollars a year is spent on illegal aliens for Welfare & social services by the American taxpayers.

Those that want illegals here should give up their OWN money to support them, buy their insurance, etc, those of us who don't want to support illegals, should not have to PAY for them.

This is a practical question. I would appreciate your advice regardless of your whether your opinion matches mine or not.

Having researched this subject non-stop for the last 2 weeks, I am CONVINCED that my country (UK) is in the process of being turned into an Islamic state. Whether you agree with me or not, I would appreciate your advice...

What can I do to stop it?

I've thought about the obvious.. Talk to others (which is difficult as they have all but sewn up normal dialogue with the 'racist card'), vote BNP (which I would never do because I'm not a racist), post on blogs, forums, etc.

In my opinion, the British (and European) people are suffering from apathy.

What can I, and others like me, actually DO to make a difference?

Please don't try to convive me that I am wrong in my assumption. I've seen anough evidence this week to scare the hell out of me.

Please, just advise me on a strategic level.

Thanks
