The same as the right of anyone else.

Farmers Branch is violating federal law. Congress has declared that it has sole authority over immigration issues, and federal law trumps any state/local law.

So, it doesn't matter who the city is hurting by that illegal ordinance. The fact that the ordinance violates federal law is enought to sue.

If these people are here illegally, they should have NO rights whatsoever! If you do not like the way things are run here, go the hell home! Mexican Leaders need to get a grip on reality - this is NOT their country!
I am so sick of all this.

We have to be concerned whether or not people are in this country to do harm to us as they had in 2001.

I think checking to find out if people are here legally is a wonderful idea! Its about time some cities took the right initiative, and not turned a blind eye to the situation any longer.

OMG!! English, being the official language, in America!! How dare we!!!!

Sorry, you want rights, come here legally, and then make sure you become a US citizen, and pledge your allegiance to THIS country, and all her so called silly rules and regulations. Then, ask what your rights are.

get a lawyer and try it you will lose.and to the guy who says these laws are unconstiyutional you are wrong. The states have every right to pass laws that dont exist on the federal level. however they could pass federal laws that would then take presedence over state law . so far that hasnt happened but i wish our government would use these local ordinances as a guide. In my mind illegals have no rights . yOU ARE HERE ILLEGALLY.GO HOME

I applaud and agree with Farmers Branch...
These are actions that are long over due..
We need Federal Laws exactly like these and they
need to be enforced..

I saw that on the news. I don't believe that an illegal has any rights, sorry. You need to apply for citizenship.
