I am on social security disability for multiple sclerosis and have had many interactions with SSA administration. I can only say that whether I contact them in person or via phone, I will get a different answer every time I talk to a new person. IF you are calling and get an answer that is elusive, do not hesitate to call back. You will never get the same person twice. On successive calls, you will find a person who is more knowledgeable and who can answer any questions that you might have. Do not be shy. You are entitled to an answer that is clear to you and definitive as to what is going on. Or if you filed on line you can access this info on line. IF you get denied, do not despair. You can contact a lawyer to go to bat for you or you can contact a company called Allsup. They are aces at getting legitimate claims through on their first try and the have a great site on the Internet. Good luck and be sure to post any other questions that you might have.

Social security is projected to run out by 2044. Of course, that is without figuring in the increased influx of the ecconomic terrorist each day. It'll probably run out in the next 4 to 6 years if this keeps up.

never heard of that. ask your drs if they have sent the medical records. they usually do not and it slows the process down. did you call the toll free number. have you been on the ssa.gov site?
