This is doing my bloody head in.
These "druggies" are getting approx. £4,000 each, and for what? Not being able to take drugs or their substitute whilst in prison.
I bet there will soon be another test case for "alcoholics" - not being able to get pissed in prison "must" be an infringement of "Human Rights" What a load of bollocks!!!!!
I wonder if this payment includes costs.
You can bet your life that some lazy, fat, Human Rights lawyer has made a killing on this one. Was it Cherie Blair I wonder?
Anyway this country of ours is going "stark raving mad"
Lets use a bit of common sense if we have to accept this "H/R" legislation.
The ordinary working man/woman won"t stand for this idiocy much longer.

govenment so Human Rights orientated that they forget about real people living in the real world, lets tear up the human rights act, stop the crim's claiming compo, and force them back into hard labour.
What is the world coming too, easier to be a crim, get roof, food, drugs, compo, healthcare all free, and get paid too.
think im doing something wrong here

I think the brain dead morons that vote in favour of giving these cretins damages just because they cannot take a self inflicted drug addiction .drug. Must be on drugs them selves If the Druggies find out they will not get access to the drugs in Nick. They will not want to go in nick will they. Why do the tax payer have to pay for it.People should vote on this.Tell they Human rights people to keep their nose out of problems that they make and want .Better still lock them up with the druggers.

The only compensation you are likely to get is the pleasure of knowing what a superiour law abiding being you are! Bet youv'e never even broken or bent one tiny little law have you?
Try breaking a law, get arrested and then get a really clever lawyer who is only interested in how big His share will be, to get you off! That seems to work!

Where's it all going to end? I would imagine the next step is that when someone is arrested for possesion of drugs and has them consficated it will become a breach of that person's human right because without their fix of the drug that has been taken away, they will be entitled to compensation! Well done Mr Blurgh you have made our country such a fantastic place to live with all your fantastic new laws and signing up to all these fantastic EU laws. You are about as useful as a chocolate firepoker (sorry one use would be to shove it up your stupid @rse)

Britain had a ok developed legal device, likely the finest contained in the international, until eventually this authorities signed us as a lot because the ridiculous Human Rights Act. maximum of our complications have flowed from this. i imagine that that is a planned attack on British values.
