If you have seen my answers or questions, you know I am Liberal. However, I am not asking yo to vote any certain way. I just want you to get out there and vote. I am on my way out the door to do so myself, then I work all day. This is the single most important thing you do as an American. Voting is what makes this a democracy.

I urge you to vote your conscience. To vote with your heart. Make a difference! Your vote Does count. In Florida in 2000, a few hundred votes decided the presidential election, in 2004, fewer than a hundred votes decided the gubenetorial election in Washington state. You matter!

A neighbor has an electrified fence. The fence was temporarily damaged with a bobcat (not sure if the neighbor commissioned the bobcat). His dog got loose. The dog got into our pool destroyed the liner and died while we were out of town. Our insurance won't cover it because a domestic animal caused the damage. Will our neighbor's insurance cover the damage?

"The British government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa." -- President Bush, Jan.28, 2003, in the State of the Union address.

FACT: This whopper was based on a document that the White House already knew to be a forgery thanks to the CIA. It had been presented to certain members of congress as a fact, which led them to vote for the resolution to authorize war.

With all the political garbage associated with being a war time president why would anyone from any party want to be in the political hot seat when a war starts? If you are a conspiracy junkie I'll read your answer just to be fair.

I hear a lot of republicans say that we will open ourselves up for terrorist attacks if we allow the Congress to become controlled by the democrats. Isn’t a foreign policy based upon Western views and backed by military force on a people whose whole history is based on religion (Sunni-Shiite division) an open invitation to want to fight/attack us? If I do recall the Republicans were in control of Congress 3 years prior to Sep 11. Were we kept safe? I am a former Army Officer and an Iraq Veteran. There has been no clear plan by the Bush lead Republican administration, since day one, on how we deal with Iraq. I fully support our operations in Afghanistan and would go if I had to. The current path that we are on has given radical groups the tools to recruit and the resolve to continue to fight us. Our priorities are not their (Middle Eastern) priorities. We need to allow them to develop as we have (at their own pace). Just 40 years ago in this country Blacks and Whites could not eat in the same establishments. Isn’t it about time we get some fresh ideas in our government and see it we can get back on track to being a world leader through example and not military force?

Nov. 3 (Bloomberg) -- Bob (Swiftboat) Perry, the Houston homebuilder who led the drive to discredit Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry's war record in 2004, has replaced George Soros as the biggest donor in U.S. politics.

This year, his contributions to such so-called 527 groups -- named for the section of the tax code under which they operate -- are focusing on Democratic lawmakers the groups regard as vulnerable, paying for attack ads independent of the Republican candidates and official party apparatus.

With all this discussion of the voting, a Brit like me gets slightly taken aback at the ferocity of you Reps vs Dems, is there truely no third party in America? And what defines you as Dem or Rep? People seem to be getting branded as one or the other purely on one belief or opinion? I realise Dems are Left and Reps are right (you guys make that hard to miss) but surely there is some middle ground here? By definition there must be some centerist politics, are the manifestos of each party so completely different?
