The Russian girl was hot! Could it have something to do with the fling Mario and Eva had before? Hmmmmm.......

What does this have to do with immigration.. please put this childish, high school stuff in the correct category. Adults have more important issues than who said what on dancing with the stars... sheech

I didn't see the episode, but I can see how it would sound a little racist. I see where she is coming from since the mambo is a Hispanic thing, not a Russian thing. But at the same time, thats like saying that anyone who is not Hispanic can't know how to do it correctly. Anyone can learn how to do it and there are probably Hispanic people who can't do it as well as that Russian girl.

I don't know who Eva Longoria is. I don't know what dancing with the stars is.
However, if a Latin told someone they couldn't dance a Latin dance because they are from another country, of course it is racist. It is like saying only Americans can play baseball, and we all know how well THAT would go over....

Yeah. She also supposedly made a comment when her and Tony Parker were pulled over by a cop...something about him being a "Mexican bike cop". The worst part is she is of Mexican descent!

i dont watch any of those shows, but it was a racist comment. what, does she claim that the mambo is exclusively mexican or whatever she is?
dont waste you time watching that stuff. lots of better stuff on. like the dog whisperer or meet the ancestors, or what the romans did for us or i could go on forever.

In other words, 'You're letting a WHITE girl teach you to dance?"
Yep, maybe not blatantly racist, but certainly a short-sighted bigotted remark.

She was referring to Edyta Sliwinska, who isn't even Russian! She's Polish! But yes, it was racist. Of course, I really don't expect much else coming from a loser like Eva Longoria! Poor Eva's just jealous that she'll never look half as good or dance half as well as Edyta.

Not really, I think its like saying "youre letting a Mexican show you the jitterbug?" You know what I mean, while it sounded bad and she could have reworded it, I dont think she meant any harm by it.

Years ago, I saw a Pepto Bismol ad. It showed a guy eating pasta. The expression on his face told us that it was horrible. Bneath the picture, it said:
"Your girlfriend made (*i forgot the name of the dish*).....She's from Scotland"
Isn't that racist too?
Stop nitpicking
