No. It just makes you one of millions.
On election day, if you don't like either candidate, you really need to choose between the lesser of two evils. Otherwise, in my opinion, you have forfeited your right to complain about anything the government is doing.
Certainly one candidate has something about him/her that you like. It's a little late to begin researching, but do yourself a favor and try to find out where the candidates stand on a few issues and base your vote on that.

It sends a message but probably not the message you are wanting to send. By not voting you are giving the message that you are apathetic rather than disagreeing with the given candidates. You should at least use the write-in vote to show that you care.

no it sends a message of apathy. Surely there are one or two candidates you could vote for. How about local taxation issues. If you vote a ballot and leave some races unvoted then it would send your message about those candidates but just not showing up says you don't care one way or the other.

No it just says you don't care sometimes you have to choose the lessers of 2 evils to avoid the most evil. No vote for anyone can be the same as a vote for the worst because you didnt vote for any

A ballot is always filled with a number of representative campaigns and issues. Do you really not have an opinion about anyone or any issues? Not even local races? Hell, in California they have about ten bond issues on the ballot every year! You don't have an opinion on bonds, taxes, amendments, nothing? Why are you here in YA?

No it sends a message that you are uniformed, lazy and not aware of how precious your right to vote and how much blood is still being spilt for that right as well as others.

No, because it will not be on record as a protest. Go vote and write in a name or vote for an independent.

If you don't like any of the choices, then write someone in.
And once the election is over, and the leaders are chosen, then make your voice heard - contact your elected representatives and let them know how you feel. They still represent you!!
