Relax, people! I was just trying to gently encourage people to vote. This was meant to be a light-hearted question.

With all due respect, when or if I vote, and whom I
vote for is my personal business. I can understand your
excitement about this opportunity to celebrate being
in America once again, however, I do resent being challenged as if I were a child or an uncaring person
by a blind message such as this. You would better
serve the challenge by simply reminding people that this
is a special day in the USA and urging them to exercise their hard won rights to vote.

I used to feel that way too, but this year I've changed my mind. I don't care for anyone on my ballot. There is a reson I don't want to vote for any of them. I'm complaining because I did not have more and better choices. Which means I will have complaints later when they do a horrible job. My new mantra "Don't blame me I didn't vote for them."

Of course a non-voter can complain... it's called Free Speech.
It is incredibly intriguing how some people want to decide who can and cannot offer their viewpoints on important matters, simply because of their gender, skin color, experience, etc.
Either a person's opinion is valid, fact-based, and enlightening, or it isn't. The effect of their words should have nothing to do with their physical traits, education level, or their life experience.

horse hockey! it is the right of EVERY american to complain...it's in the constitution...as far as i'm concerned, if you fit any of these three categories, you have every right to complain if you think the government is screwing up-and you have an obligation to do so...
voter
taxpayer
citizen
after all, not every government official has to answer to the voters at the polls...by the way, i fit all three categories

of course you can complain, the whole voting sytem is corrupt, the political system is corrupt, you cannot change that by voting, so there is every reason to complain.
