Actually, it has. Logic and reason have enhanced perspective. When I was younger, I was supposed to accept the views of adults and peers at school because our teachers were trusted purveyors of information. I'm glad I questioned authority. I shed that democratic crap after personally finding each tenet wrong and empty of reason in a thorough examination of my life. Liberal ideology supports egos, not real living.

No life become glorious and then you become a Republican. When you don't have much and feel the world owes you something for being alive and want more you back the Democrats. You really believe they have your best interest at heart. You think they are Robin Hood.

When you start making some money and find out how much the government is taking from you and what they are doing with it you lean toward Republicans. You realise you worked your butt off to get a little more and Robin Hood is really a criminal-- nothing more.

Reality bites!

Under current circumstances, yes. I can't believe that the Democratic Party has chosen to go further left. They will eventually SEE the errors of their ways. They have driven people to vote Republican. Twenty-five years ago, the Democratic Party could attract many of the current Republican voters. Not anymore. The far left extremist view point is not 'attractive' at all. And Hillary isn't going to fool enough people, with her 'feigned centralism'. We can't be fooled anymore.

no. unlike Libs, we work for a living, as opposed to getting 10 million a year and up for getting in front of a movie camera and simulating tears. and, unlike Libs, the average working stiff middle america republican can't afford a 5 dollar latte on a daily basis. glamorous? i think not.

If you're not well off and you become a Republican, it can make you petty, small and angry. Just listen to the tone of right wing talk radio. That's how you'll soon sound to others.

Liberals are always on edge because they are always having to lie to cover other lies and "Oh what a web we weave when we attempt to deceive". Republicans-"The truth shall set you free".

I would think it would either stay the same or get worse. If you are a sane Republican and not one of those evangelical nut jobs that want to crush all civil liberties in this country then life for you would be hell on earth.

No. It just becomes easier.

When you are a Democrat, you must live life being led by your feelings, not what makes sense. When you are a Republican, you are logical. It's a much easier way to live life.
