Nobody represents the majority of any population. Do you feel all African Americans should vote for the same person? Why cant they all look at the issues and have their own opinions without looking at skin color?

No we should not. You should work hard in the primaries to place the candidates onto the ballot that you want. Stop being lazy and waiting for the general election. Take control at the primary level.

You know, the whole ameriKKK thing is really old and tired. Try another race-baiting line and stop embarrassing rational people of color with such immature non-requiters.

Are you saying that only black candidates can represent black voters?

Can only Baptist candidates represent Baptist voters?

Can only a homosexual candidate represent homosexuals?

Can only female candidates represent female voters?

Can only blue-eyed candidates represent blue-eyed voters?

I do not agree. I think you elect a person you feel will represent ALL the people in their district, and it is your duty to let your elected representatives know your opinions on issues. If you don't tell them, they can't represent you. If you do tell them, they will represent you.

Please go vote! Make your voice heard.

Why does skin color have anything to do with voting?

Race-based thinking is a terrible thing, no matter the skin color of the person offering it.

Why should they use the write in option? What will it get the black people? If your vote doesn't count towards the selection/winner/loser then it has been wasted.

Registered - yes
Voting - yes

I especially like how you spelled America with three k's. You should just vote a straight Democrat ticket like you always do!

Historicaly, when the blacks have come out to vote in significant numbers, the Democrats have won. I'm not black, but I feel that the Democrats have been better for the black people and for the poor people than the Republicans who are for big business and the wealthy. I hope blacks come out and vote in record numbers, but I feel that like anyone else, when they write in candidates that cannot win they are wasting their vote. But come out and vote your conscience whatever it is.
