I'm doing a project on Trench Warfare, and I'm kind of limited to the amount of information I can put in. I also have to write it all myself, summarise and what not. Do you have any ideas on what information and pictures/diagrams I can use?

My very best friend recently left for deployment a couple of weeks ago. We are so close, we're like family. I've heard a lot of people say that when you have someone over there, it's best to not watch the news. Is this true? Also, I have formed the habit of checking the CNN list of casualties....I know this can't be healthy to look at everyday. What's the best way to avoid thinking about it?

Most televisions, specially if made after 2000, have parental controls that can be utilized to block content that don't wish their kids to see? Or instead of using this technology they rather complain and have the shows censored?

Brought my wife and 3 young children to a Halloween festival sponsored by our city's police dept. Special live performance, costume contest, haunted house, etc. Performance turned out to be an hour long, increasingly disturbing/violent morality play put on by a local church. We kept thinking it was a really bad costumed drama until it was capped off with the most violent excerpts from Passion of the Christ and a call for people to accept Christ. There were no advance notices of the violence, the church, or the proselytizing. My kids were traumatized and my wife and I are still dumbfounded. Is there a law against this?

Is any amnesty a reward to those breaking the law.? Giving amnesty to illegal aliens forgives their act of illegally entering the United States and in addition forgives related illegal activities such as driving illegally and working using false documents. Have you noticed that the people who insist that we shouldn't be allowed to own guns just happen to be the types of people who you wouldn't trust with one in the first place? All of the law-abiding American gun owners I know personally are responsible, mature, and stable. However, I have had "discussions" with anti-gun folks who, during our discussions, exploded into hysterics, calling me "child killer", etc., and telling me that my guns are responsible for shootings in inner-city schools, etc. (as if guns have the ability go get up and go around shooting all by themselves).

to solve problems? Why are we not taught the history of the middle east in high school. I only ask because for the most part when I was in high school we were taught the history of Germany and world war 2. And American history. I KNOW The Holocaust was horrible, I am just curious to know why we weren't taught about the history of terrorist or some other interesting facts about world history. I don't even know the history of terrorist. It didn't seem like that many people even knew about terrorism before 9-11.

Now I am NOT sating that terroism is right at all, but do you think that maybe people started getting violent because they saw people in their own country getting treated bad and had to act out. But then they just got out of control? The movie Paradise now was a really good movie, I do recomend it

I came across a photo of a Panther in French Fleet Air Arm markings. But in none my books or knowlege of French Naval Air Don't I recall any use by them. Corsairs & Crusaders, yes. But Panthers?????
