Are Muslim leaders in Britain using our democracy and liberties to purport their religion and culture with the aim of supplanting all others? Does this represent an element intrinsic to expansionist religions that should be expected and accepted? What are the dangers (politically, socially and culturally) of aiding (Governmentally) conservative religions in what is primarily a secular state?

Neocons don't share America's core values. They don't share the founding fathers' values: Love of liberty; intellectual curiosity; progressive outlook; Liberal activism.

It's in people like Murta, Moore and Cindy Sheehan that we see the spirit of Washington, Franklin and Jefferson.

Limbaugh, Medved, Hannity, O'Reilly and Coulter are the oft-quoted cheerleaders for the new King Georges, the new fascist oppressors of America, the destroyers of the Middle Class with outsourcing and unionbusting, the cultivators of racial and cultural division in our society for their own ballot box profit.

A year ago I met 2 men (Steve and Brian) via the internet and they both came to visit me in my home country (Japan). I finally came to the United States and married Steve because he promised me he would try to look for jobs in Japan. Steve turned out to be a drug user and a porn addict and didn't give me any respect as I am totally dependent on him financially after moving here. Now I have decided to leave him for my own good. Brian learned of my situation all along told me he still loves me and still wants me to be his wife. I knew I had made a mistake by not choosing Brian. A long story short, Brian and I have decided we want to get marry. My question is as I am still a conditional permanent resident here, so after the divorce, should I go back to Japan and come again to be with Brian or should I stay here to petition to remove the conditional term by myself? Is it possible that I can petition for myself and be successful? Thank in advance for your input.

The increasingly influential Christian lobby has blocked legislation for stem cell research, euthenasia, and other developments which surveys show are supported by the majority of Australians. The Christian lobby is a marginal minority, but represents votes increasingly important in marginal seats, where comparatively few votes can swing results. It's a creeping growth of influence under the present Federal Government which includes fundamentalists, who have now got millions of dollars of Federal funds allocated for Chaplains in secular State schools, and also devoted Govt education funding to extremely rich, private, Church schools. Protests are ignored, and muted. Is this the boiling frog syndrome? Islamic countries are experiencing similar difficulties with fundamentalists - who typically resort to terror when they don't get what they want such as Sharia Law. Western societies fought hard for secular States. Are we losing them?

Have you ever considered that the goverenment uses two highly addictive substances to get tax money from the people that provide most of their needs themselves,ie. the midwest farmer who raises his own meat and veggies and if not for the addiction the government creats he would never pay any other tax then from what he sells.

After getting on YahooAnswers out of curiosity, I - like many I am sure - have quickly noticed that when it comes to at least politics, this is not so much a place to actually ask serious questions, but a place for what seems to be just juvenile slander and sh*t talking; there are some liberals bitching about much of the nations current ailments(specifically Iraq) but what is realistically true is that this place contains mostly angry right-wingers spewing one juvenile crass statement about Liberals or “Democraps” after the other. They literally post over 100 times a day(which leads up to thousands of posts) talking about how Liberals are "fags" who (the now famous)“hate America, and love terrorist!”. Wow, and that is just ONE example.

So my real question is: Does this sort of rant prove that Conservatism is actually a mental disorderlike this actual scientific study indicates??

if the governments of the world are so focussed on a war on gunz and weapons, why do they allow factories to mass-produce arms, and distribute them around the world?

if they really wanted to they could simply shut down the factory owners which, to me, seems like a much easier solution then war and over packed prisons.

what you guys think...?
