I don't know why everyone wants to exchange gifts all the time.
Give him a hug and take him out to dinner or make him a home cooked meal.
Spend time with him because he may be away allot.

You feel a need to give a gift? Take him to dinner somewhere. If you can't afford to take a big group out, just aunt and uncle take him for a special dinner. That might be a once in a lifetime event

Take him out for a drink and tell him that everyone is proud of him. Also depending on how much money you want to spend, a prepaid airline ticket would be really cool so he could come home whenever he gets a chance without worrying about saving money for it.

Gifts? How will a gift help as much as spending as much time with him as you can while you can? Make him feel he has family and the gift choosing will be easy. Time with family is the best gift for him right now. How about getting him laid?

Give him something he'll be able to use. A 500 minute phone card would be good because I'm sure he'll be away from home for a while.

Give him a small compass. Tell him to use it to navigate through life. Tell him to mark where he is now and use the compass to get back to this pont when things in his life go astray.
