It is not up to the government to control anti-social behaviour, it is up to ALL of us, the authorities can, and do in my opinion, give out stiffer sentences for unruly behaviour. Then we have the situation of there not being enough room in the prisons, and some people say that jail should be the last option. I'm not really sure if it is at an acceptable level, although it is where I live.

Being in the police I've noticed youth's downright defiance towards authority. Defiance towards the police, the parents, teachers, schools e.t.c.
In the old days defiance was beaten out of people, mentally or physically. Anyone caught vandalising an old lady's window would have had ten shades of s**t beaten out of them by their dad. If they got caught misbehaving by the police, they'd be locked up in a police van and dropped off somewhere in the rain to make them cool off a little bit.
I was told a story of a youth years ago, who after having smashed all the windows in a pub and the windows of the cars parked outside was found several hours later naked, blindfolded and tied up at the top of a rugby post. Noone, not even the police batted an eye-lid because the youth had it coming, he got what he deserved and he never did it again.
I've been told stories by older cops of rounding up groups of 10-20 teenagers who had been misbehaving and driving them 15 miles away into the middle of nowhere, pointing them in the direction of the city and making them walk home. It was an instant punishment that taught the kids right from wrong.
Nowadays the kids know more about their rights than we do, and something seriously needs to be done about it.

no, but then I dont think they realy want to ,and there will be a purpose for not wanting to a strategy, I will put forward a possable strategy The world has gone fighting mad, the government know that britains old warrior attitude has all but gone, we have become materialistic comfort seekers, we want
peace so we can enjoy, but polititions now need us to be more warlike, by allowing anti social behaviour to flourish, they know this will get on the nerves of the peace people, and they will plead for the return of national service and eventualy the gov, will oblidge. we are facing old fashoned warriors wh o enjoy war, we have to be made the same so we can compete or we may be defeated.
