An ill thought out war that is costing American lives, and all our government can say is stay the course.
America being sold off to foreign countries and even congress doesn't know what is going on.
Department of transportation making plans to allow trucks brought in from Mexico across our borders.
Drug program that has many seniors paying over $3850. a year, if they have even one serious health problem. Plus the monthly drug premium, before they can get drugs at a truely low cost.
Drug smugglers set free and border guards sent to jail for doing their job.
Isn't it time to clean house and start over?

I voted for a moral govenment. I didn't get it and I can admit a wrong. I plan to vote against my incumbents. Democrats can't be any worse than these crooks and they can be voted out too, if they refuse to clean up the government.
We have another Vietnam, with an administration that is fighting a WW11 type war.
No one is being made accountable to the people.
Investments are all they care about, even if it is in another country and destroying the middle class.
Apathy and greed is destroying this country.

The problem is the way our elected officials are elected. They do very little work for us because they are too busy sucking up to whoever has a donation for their campaign. Another big problem is low voter turn out. Too many people believe that their vote won't count. That's a load of bull. I believe that if every eligible voter would get out there and vote for ISSUES and not PARTIES we would have more Libertarians elected. I'm a registered Democrat, but my political leanings are more along the Libertarian line.

We have been sold out by corporations and politicians. Plain and simple. These folks are anti-American. Anyone sending jobs overseas, hires illegals or anyone over an American is selling out their own people. Our manufacturing base has been stripped an we cannot recover from it. China owns our manufacturing base and we are at their mercy. At the mercy of communists that enforce slave labor to provide us with cheap products that break down and are clogging our land fills. Everything is throwaway and made poorly. We buy the same products over and over because they don't last. The Chinese make hazardous products with lead paint that destroys our childrens health and no one does much to stop it. The runaway health care providers are further adding to costs that destroy families and their homes. The American dream has already been issued to those who are living it off the sweat of the Chinese and other workers and corporations and politicians hate the American worker. Drugs further this enslavement and deterioration of America and even the corporations and politicians won't escape their atrocious policies. Once the class war fully erupts they will start to do something about all this but until then they wallow in their greed at your cost. Think about those that have no hope whatsoever. They are the ones that will rob, steal, rape, assault, and kill your children because they have been cut out completely. America still has time to wake up but with a two party split this nation will always be at war within itself and the people will suffer. Your vote can be manipulated at will with the new electronic voting. The government can and will do what it likes. The government needs to fear it's people not the people fearing the government. Big business and politicians have sold us out they are the real enemy not the countries we steal from, intimidate, destroy, and not the people we murder.

While I often get the same feeling, I remind myself that "revolutions eat their children" and then ask myself, "Is it really so bad as what might eventuate?" Of course the question uppermost in my mind (when considering revolution as an alternative) is: "Can I and my family survive this without terrible personal tradgedy?" This line of reasoning leads me to decide to stay home and try something else. Over the years I have had many personal and group meetings with my various Congressmen. In each of these I made certain that the 'person' sitting across from me understood exactly what I thought was a correct action on several topics that I had prepared, I researched their voting record, I praised or chatized as required, and I reminded them of Jefferson and why they must act in favor of the average man and not special interest groups. Some of these were rather tense conversations but I always made my points. I always ask directly before I leave, "Will you support 'whatever'. Mostly you get evasive answers but every now and then you get a yes, or a "I'll study that harder, maybe you are right"(from someone who was dead opposite before you went in) that you can believe is candid. Please, use your public access to talk with your representatives. They owe it to you and you owe it to yourself. Call your local office for an appointment (and it may take weeks).
Stalinists???? Not like I know Joe...... Serving special interests and neglecting the needs of our populace? Absolutely. The 'common' man can arise, but he must put forth an effort. Demand accountability up and down the lines and confront them relentlessly.

I see we have a few Lou Dobbs fans. You appear to be a disgruntled republican....bravo! My hat is off to you for admitting a mistake, do you think our president will listen to you? As an ex-democrat who is now and independent, I agree. The only war this administration is winning is the war on the middle class. Anyone who thinks all of what you are saying is not true has their head up their a*se. My biggest problem with the republicans is that they refuse to see the damage their policies produce, and like wind up dolls repeat everything their leadership spouts, and to make matters worse most of what they say is dead wrong. Cheney saying we will be greeted as liberators...wrong. Brownie, you're doing a great job...wrong. Tom Delay, Duke Cunningham, Bob Ney, Mark Foley, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong. I say Ed Rollins on Lou Dobbs one evening giving his republican party a D- for their performance over the last six years, and in the next breath he says he hopes they retain power. If that isn't sick I don't know what is. Dead wrong to the tune of three thousand needless American deaths.

Yes, but the people that cause the problem are also the people that make the laws. Until Americans get together and vote out all incumbents even their own, it will not change. Unfortunately most people want to vote for their senator or congressman and let everyone else vote out theirs.
