For OUR American Soldiers it is nothing more than a WAR. Suicide is when you kill yourself intentionally. OUR Soldiers are NOT doing this.

Only our grandchildren will know the facts to this war and its results. PEOPLE, you need to understand the war in Iraq, and others we currently are fighting are NOT like a war that will have results in months or the next years. These wars, are wars against not just an army, or one group, but a war against an ideology, a large already too late to fight expanded groups that operates worldwide. Al-Qaeda and its ideologies to think that anyone who is not a good Muslim or a none-Muslim should be exterminated. So, a war like this will not be over soon, we may not even live to see the results, but ONE THING THAT IS FOR SURE is, our grandchildren will live to either see the good effect of these wars.

The war against the Confederate South, had a reason to be fought during the civil wars, the fighters never lived to see the results, but TODAY we all sure and know it was a GOOD THING to fight for, liberating people. Samething in WW II against the German.

And yes, I was shot at, and almost killed by EID, all before Iraq, in Somalia, Sept. 28, 1993. Was I stupid to be there?. I don't think so, because today us leaving behind there the country was over ran by the same warlords for the last 15 years.

I want to say no but I must say yes. American soldiers are good kids who don't understand fighting scumballs like they have there. The Arabs have no uniforms, they attack while they use women and children for cover. They LIE< BIG TIME and blame Americans for war attrocities. What the USA really should do is engage some key Israeli milatery people to tach our poor boys how to take on the enemy

Its a war you cannot call it suicide. Up till now about 3000 US soldiers has been killed in this war. The number is quite high for an Army so much equip ed with high tech weapons.

Soldiers do die in wars. But the real question is why are they fighting? Why 3000 soldiers have been killed? FOR WHAT?

In World War 2 the USA was probably suffereing 3000+ casualites a week! In Korea and Vietnam it was less but still high.
Iraq is a mess but is far from being "suicide" mission unless you are in an EOD unit.

What a defeatist you are! young army guys, trying to do a job out there for there country! and you sit at home crapping all over them! I bet you attend a mosque don't you? Because that is the sort of stab- in- the- back they would expect from a Muslim living the good life in the states!!!!! It's a war. An average of fewer than two soliders have been killed each day over the last nearly four years, out of the nearly 200,000 that are there on a daily basis.
I'd say those are pretty safe odds.

Look ***** have you ever been blown up, NO, have you ever been shot at by sniper fire, NO, have you ever seen your buddys face blown off by an IED, have you ever seen your buddy slum pt over and dead from sniper fire, have you ever kicked in the door to find a 50 cal dishcua blaring in your face with a house full of suicide vest blowing your buddys up and your face, have ben hit by rpgs, have you been nice to all the people of iraq while you leave and they are so scared to get there heads cho[pped off they tell you everthing is ok.... its not ok when you duck cuase your fuked your dead and the blood and crap will come out your pants as you die and your girl will never get the money your parents will and they can spend it on the football team they can spend it on a house they they they but your face is blown off, closed casket guts, just like the guts i splattered all over the hot concrete in front of the busy market
