Welcome to America. I will be awiting your answers on this one. As far as my experience would suggest.... nothing. Suck it up, pray for the accuser and live on. Accusations of child molestation are a common part of divorce proceedings in America nowdays and no one cares if they are true or not.

The person who was accused usually doesn't have much recourse to undo the damage. You may consult a lawyer if libelous statements were made that were blatantly untrue but that's doesn't do much to repair the damage. Sometimes police and prosecutors have blinders on for political or personal reasons and allow unproven or unlikely allegations to be treated like fact. If the authorities were part of the cause it would be nice, or should I say it would be morally decent for them to offer an apology but it almost never happens. I was in a similar situation and fortunately the person who started it admitted that it was untrue. I was lucky but also innocent.

You can see a lawyer if you have a money damage involved but it is hard to prove such things. The best course of action is to move on and try to deal with it as best as you can because it is a prov-en fact the more a person dwells on these things the more trouble it creates in the long run Chalk it all up to stupidity on the other person's side and pray they seek help to handle their anger management. issues because it is better to have gone down the road on the right side than to have traveled over a mountain just to realize you just went around in a circle and now are at the very beginning again. In my mother's words the more you stir a chit pile the worse the stink will get lol good luck I hope things get better for you and your friend in the future

This is a perfect example of how a person's reputation can be irrepairably damage by false accusations. Even if exonerated, some will still think of you as guilty, and if anything like this happens in your vicinity, you can bet the police will be knocking at your door to interview you.

Had he been found accountable and there replaced into *relatively* no longer hassle-free evidence of this guilt - I mean, without shadow of a doubt, specific i might inspect him in a different way. i might in all probability end listening to his too... those quotes at the instant are not something I take gently. i like Michael, yet while there replaced into an undoctored video or something to that impact that replaced into hardcore evidence, i does no longer proceed to assist him. Had he been found accountable yet there wasn't incredibly sufficient evidence, then i may well be hella p!ssed on the yankee justice equipment. i might probaby be going around with a 'unfastened Michael' sign or something - i can't even entertain the considered Michael in reformatory if he replaced into unjustly incarcerated. it would be terrible.

That's tough. It is almost impossible to change public opinion.

Damned if you do damned if you don't. If that person starts being a productive member of society people will think they are just feeling guilty. If that person falls off the deep end, people will say that they knew all along.

I suppose that person would just have to be sincere and try to earn trust among the public. He or she would have to resume their normal life as best they can. If anyone says otherwise it could give rise to a defamation suit. Hopefully, that person has influential friends and family to back him or her up.

You can't undo what already has been done. What I would do if I was in your shoes is wait just a few months. That will give you enough time and money to seek a professional thug/mafia to find them and break thier arms and cut out thier tounge. Revenge is sweet my friend.
