Folks have been trying for years and no one has succeed, why would anyone would think they could now? The more you go after someone the harder that person is going to fight back. Vengeance is just something that is born in most people. Would you not do the same if someone came after you personally or would you turn the other cheek?

You should rephrase the question. It should read "do you think that the American/Israeli coalition can be defeated by Arab armies?".

The answer to that is no. When the Israelis are being given billions of dollars in aid every year to buy advanced weaponry, and with the knowledge that the Americans have 'got their back' Arab armies have on chance of defeating Israel.

However, unlikely as it is, at some point, America may start to distance itself from its ally. If Israel keeps acting the way it has done in the past, wiping out entire countries for 'defence', then its allies will have to start to move away. This is made even omre unlikely by the strong pro-Neo-Zionist lobbyists in Amercia, who are backed by the large numbre of absolute raving loon Evangelists who believe that they are fulfilling the prophecies in Revelations.

If America does distance itself, then at this point, without its weapons money and backing, the Arabs might well be in a position to move in and destroy Israel.

It is highly unlikely that any single middle east nation can defeat the Israeli armed forces in anything like an all-out war.

If Israel was attacked, they would be fighting back to defend their entire existance. They would not be fighting to establish a democracy in the enemy nation. They would not be looking to rebuild another nation. It would be the kind of war designed to bring the enemy to it's knee. The kind of war in which the only way to stop an enemy would be to destroy its ability to wage war. That means leveled cities and obliterated infrastructure. It would mean destroyed refineries and roads and bridges, with no thought about how the defeated nation would recover.

The Israelis wouln't have a care about how an attacking nation would recover, because they know that any nation starting an all out war against them would do it with the intention of blasting Israel out of existance ,,, forever. Seveal nations have already threatened this. They were not speaking metaphoricaly. They meant it.

If Iran, for instance started anything directly against Israel, the Israelis would go for Iran's nuclear labs first, and would not stop for any reason, or at any other nation's request. Iran's nuclear research program? Gone. Iran's military arsenal? Blasted to bits. Iran's airfields and airports? Cratered beyond use. Iran's major cities? Rubble.

Against Israel, there wouldn't be any halfway measures, and Israel would not hesitate to use it's military capabilities to its full potential. It would take a VERY united Arab effort to make any real threat to Israel's existance, and the Arabs are FAR from being united.

Israel has nukes so they are quite safe from a conventional attack from Arab armies those days are gone. Besides the main threat was Egypt back in the day and now the Egyptians have signed a peace deal and recognized Israel's right to exist so they are no longer a threat and they get there weapons from us now so they will stay quiet.

It depends on if you believe in the Karan or the Bible. The bible states that God's people (Israel) will face a force that will be destroyed and this force will fall as if hitting a wall. The Karan predicts that Israel will rise up against Islam (not necessarily Arabs) and Islam will destroy Israel. Who is right depends on what book you live by. Or if you are like me I look and what technology each have and ability. I think today Israel can destroy the Middle East by itself alone if not held back by "Democracy"!
