It seems that it would be a good ad, and informative one. I understand his passion for this cause, but it does seem irresponsible to make an ad like his without at least making sure you are not being misleading.

MJ Fox is a great man. I too understand his desperation and his over zealousness in agreeing to do the ad for someone who supports his cause. But yes, he should let people know that cloning and other issues he may not agree with are included in the language. What a wonderful, admire able thing to do--to admit he was not fully aware. Like most people, I assumed that MJ Fox KNEW what he was endorsing. He did not (fully).

I think it is strange that someone would admit that but I admire him for his honesty. Running the ad as an informative, not attacking, ad would be just fine with me but there is a fine line there.

Most lawmakers don't read the laws they vote to enact.
