Take for example, the Clinton trial....
Never before have a group of people been so adamant about finding out what someone has done in the bedroom and demanded such rigorous honesty.

Now, take a look at Charlie Crist, he is the 3rd "closeted gay" Republican to be outed down in Florida and they don't want to pursue it because it would cause him to lose the election for Governor this November.

What are your thoughts?

I know that there are instances where commanders have power over civilian spouses, such as while on an installation, or if they are causing trouble in some way that affects the army and what not, but how much authority do they have and where can that specific information be found?

If a commander gives an order to a subordinate not to buy a Chrysler 300 for example, does that order apply also to their spouse even if they are not on post?

And while we're on the subject, do commanders have the authority to say what subordinates can and cannot purchase with their own pay? (And I'm taliking about legal everyday items, like say a TV or a Microwave) I need referenes if you have them, thank you.

BTW, his visit to N Korea was a personal visit, (not sponsored by the U.S.), but his accomplishments was validated by written communications between the two leaders afterwards. See his new book on the subject and ESPN "Booknotes", Oct 17th.

Was it the govt's on going "non-diplomacy" attitude towards negotiations ("no talk") with a possible enemy, (or can it be bettter defined as just plain old stupidity)?

Remember when all of the screw-you-give-me-all-of-your-money-so-I-can-buy-votes politicians were telling us how GREAT social security was? How much better off it is than investing on your own in the stock market? Where are they today?

I can remember ad campaigns when I was a kid. Every now and again, someone would sling some mud, but they were mostly about what that person planned to do while in office, or whatever they were running for. Now, the only thing I ever hear is "this person did that" or "that person didn't do that".....it sounds like my 3 and 6 year old fighting. It really makes me not want to vote at all!!
