Stem cells are no myth and it's no panacea. Stem cells have been used to repair damaged heart muscles in people and repair broken spinal cords in rats with the rats regaining the ability to walk as soon as the brain figured out how to send the signals thruogh the new nerve cells. Stem cells hold too great a promise to let religious superstition get in the way of progress.

I think its called hope.
Hope defined as:
the feeling that what is wanted can be had or that events will turn out for the best.
God bless the people that continue though thought a lost cause because everyone has to believe in something.

Everytime you buy a newspaper, they think that it is because someone actually believes the tripe they write.
