the exchange rate changes on a daily basis. You can check yahoo finance to see the exchange for the day. Also, many of your major banks have the capablity to exchange many different foreign currencies. I would call first to double check.

in Google's search feild type the amount of pounds followed by "GBP to USD" to get the conversion.
For example:
"10 GBP to USD" bring up this:
10 British pounds = 18.79800 U.S. dollars

you cant exchange foreign coins. only notes and its worth almost double.
