What do you mean by related? Related, as in by birth? No. But your very question indicates there is some relation there, right? You're related them, presumably by the O that they both start with and the "ama" sound at the end.

So, you must ask yourself a question. Would you want to vote for someone that is in any way related to Osama? For the Senate or for the President of the United States? The answer that just escaped your lips is a whispered, "No."

Different continents. But the long time Ambassador to the United States from Saudi Arabia was nicknamed Prince Bandar Bush. Could there be something more to this nickname? If I were a Republican, I'd try to start just such a rumor, but I'm a straight talking Democrat..

This question isn't really deserving of an answer but since I was repremanded by Yahoo for simply replying to another stupid question with a laugh I guess I'll have to answer.

No

Just another Republican that shows respect to a Democrat that is worthy of respect. Obama is worthy of respect but I don't know that I'd want him in control of the country though.

Of course not! But after watching Obama on Meet the Press I was struck by the fact that he actually stops to take the time to THINK about his answer instead of sublimely stuttering through it. He is very intelligent and this country has elected(or selected, shout out to SOS Ken Blackwell-OH) much worse than he for President.

What an asinine question. Barak Obama is one of the most intelligent members of the Democrats. To even insinuate that he is related in any way to Osama Bin Laden is an insult to Obama, and shows your complete ignorance. I am a republican, and I find this question embarrassing and stupid. Please accept my apology on behalf of the entire Republican party. It just goes to show you... there are idiots on both sides of the aisle.

No, but the fact that their names rhyme would make some really great campaign slogans for 2008...

Depending on your particular political persuasion, you could have:

Obama will stand strong against Osama

or

Obama will be weak on Osama

No. But it would be kind of fun to have someone named Obama as president. Lots of great rhyme and rhythm in that name.

Yes, Osama is hiding out in our government disguised as a black man. You found him! Where do I send the medal?

One is African-American and the other is Arab.
And another is an idiot. That one happens to be the asker of this question.
