but as I ran a check on him,via a friend. Come to find out he is not a child molester. He was arrested for public urination. How is this considered a sex offense? Everyone in my neighborhood is giving him a hard time. Should I stand up for him or should I just mind my own business?

In order to publicly urinate, he had to display his penis, that's what it's for.

This is why I hate the term "sex offender". The term should be limited to molesters and rapists, because that's what people think about. Also, public urinaters shouldn't have to register as a sex offender for life, this is a punishment that does NOT fit the crime.

Now, due to a lot of communities limiting where sex offenders can live, there are undue restrictions on his mobility and such. I'd imagine that the ACLU and others are actively looking for test cases to get this entirely too vague of a term and it's reprecussions tossed out of the books. I'd advice the guy to check into that.

In the mean time, I'd tell everyone why he's on there, and to give the guy a break.

some laws are ridiculous and we have the holy holys who can/t do any wrong , same as the Florida congressman who was messing with the paiges, yelling kill kill kll, when they in many cases have did more wrong than most of the so called offenders, it seems no one wants to take into consiideration a medical problem where some one needs to urinate and can't hold it, or maybe other problems such as a diabetic sometimes,I have had to slip behind a bush at times because I couldn't hold it and I damn sure not a child molester or rapiest. these idiots who are yellling to kill some one , are they trying to hide their own sins or ?

I would suggest that you stand up for him and tell all your neighbors the truth because everyone w/ be so busy watching him you may miss the real predator that is why i hate this law so many of these so called offenders are on the list it takes away from the main reason of knowing who is really a predator and who is not .

I think you should stand up for him after all if everyone is afraid because of their kids thats bad when all he did was pee. It will calm down your neighborhood and ill tell you how to get the word out. Pick the biggest gossip in your neighborhood and show her on your computer everyone will know by the next day. Just tell her how funny it is that all he did was pee and she will get the word out for you.

Public Nudity in plan view of children

Mind your own business

sex offender title has not been placed over your head but it will be if you mingle with the enemy of those around you.

If you have kids, you have a responsilbity to no be around that person

Your best bet is to pray for him and do not join in on mistreating him. If you feel safe enough and are of legal age, you can befriend the individual. If anyone young hangs out with this person, it will only make things worse. People often let there fears dilute their judgement.

Wow, he had to register for urinating in public, I would mention it to my neighbors if it came up in conversation. Maybe they would let off of him some.

I would tell people.....that is something that is not right, but he does not deserve people thinking he is a rapist or molester. Not fair to him, and maybe you should try and talk to him.....word spreads by action, not just talk....if people see that you are showing friend ship then others might was well.

Public exposure - you have to take out your willie to go pee.

Tell everyone that he just peed in public and tell them where to check it out.
